This is interesting to see... Any thoughts as to why the Terrain Denalis are coming in lower with residuals and mf? Don't those usually have higher numbers than the lower trims of the GMC lineup?

No, just the opposite. More tech and features, that become obsolete faster during the lease term, generally result in lower residuals.

True for a lot of brands, besides GMC.

Never thought about it like that, but definitely can see that, especially as infotainment and other features evolve more rapidly. I noticed from the 2018 Canyon residuals are about 5% higher with the Denali trim as opposed to SLE/SLT residuals. It is the 1st year for the new Terrain as opposed to the Canyon being in the 4th or 5th year of production since it was redesigned, so I would be interested to see whenever the Canyon is going to be billed as "all-new" again if it will follow a similar trend to Terrain with the Denali trim being worth less than lower trims at end of lease.

Hard to say. Anything is possible. The rates and residuals are set to achieve a certain payment, and help move inventory.

For what it is worth, I just leased a 2018 Terrain AWD SLT in Long Island, New York. It came with the Driver Alert Package I, Preferred Package, Interior Protection Package and Sunroof. MSRP was $38,725. The sales tax and bank fee was rolled into the payment. No money down. I just had to pay the first month's payment ($410) plus DMV fees. It is a 36 month lease at 10k miles per year. I have a non-GM lease so I got a $2,500 rebate for that plus a few other rebates that GMC was offering.

$410 for a MSRP of $38,725 .... seems high.
