yes i agree as well; i was looking at the 340 payments but the dealers here in the area are not so transparent. just moved from FL and i was always able to get upfront prices with great deal; maybe im doing something wrong.

The lease cash is a dealer incentive, so any price they give you already includes it. It's not a customer rebate.

Texas taxes the full selling price of a vehicle, even for a lease.
Tax credits are only available if VW is offering them, and that isn't all that often.

Given TX taxes, that's pretty much a fair deal for the Tiguan. It's not cheap to lease.

Limited is the old body style? Then yes, they are trying to get rid of them.
Given the $4000 incentive, $5708 off seems decent, but not mind boggling.
Did they give you a payment quote, with that price?

If the VW dealer will take your car in trade, getting you out of the rest of the lease, then no issues. But, you can't "turn it in" to them. You'll just need to see if they can do that, or possibly credit you with some equity, if things work out that way.

Thanks a lot. No, the price is posted on their website. I have not reached out yet. I am hoping they will buyout the lease, but the Honda has minor hail damage. Not really noticeable, but still it is there.

Purchase vs. lease sometimes comes with different incentives. That price may, or may not be valid with the lease program.
