Question about pricing. I'm looking at leasing a 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL Premium. On the dealers website they list the MSRP at $39,175 with an internet discount of $3,526 for a total of $35,649. Does this essentially mean they are giving $2026 off MSRP plus the lease cash and drive to decide? Just trying to figure out how to negotiate if they are already $2026 below MSRP.

I wouldn't assume anything with on-line pricing. That price may include incentives that are not compatible with the lease program.

But, it doesn't hurt to ask. Just don't be surprised when they quote you a higher number.

Add 1% for 10K/yr The dealer incentive isn't reflected in the lease calculation. Hopefully, you negotiate a lower selling price because of it.

The dealer incentive isn't reflected in the lease calculation. Hopefully, you negotiate a lower selling price because of it.

So I went to the dealer today and the msrp was 39,120 and and the adjusted cap was 36,000.  We wanted a 3 year 10k on an sel premium with 4 motion.  They quoted me $490/month (8.75% tax included) with $2000 down which included first payment. I also had $1200 to roll in from my current Tiguan because they aren't doing pull ahead (which he said wasn't included in the 36,000 cap)

This seems high

So, your $2000 covers first payment, plus $1200 negative equity and DMV?

Seems pretty close on the calculations.
Considering the acquisition fee has to be added, the $36K CAP seems about right, as well. I'm guessing the incentives were already included in that on-line price.

zipcode 75013. I spoke to dealer yesterday regarding a tiguan se lease for 3yr, 30k miles with 1st payment down and was offered a vehicle with 600 miles already on it for 346$ per month. Is this a good deal?
Are there any issues with leasing a vehicle with 600 miles on it.
