No.. that's part of the amount we quote, on the base trim. It's $800 on the other trims.

I'm just a penny off of that quote, with those prices.

We'd suggest rolling in the taxes and acquisition fee into the monthly payment. Lower out of pocket, and you won't lose that money if the car is stolen or totaled.

Looking at senate747 post and wondered if you would clarify a couple things. Is the $276.53 before tax (because of the upfront sales tax amount)? When I add up 1st month, registration.....I'm off by about $750???? Is that dealer's fee or am I missing something else? Thank you for your help.

Thank you! I think my higher number has to do with the state of Texas requiring all the tax on the vehicle purchase value, not just the three years' worth or lease amount....which means it's really a full tax bill. I don't like it but ugh. Some dealers have sales tax credits and can reduce that, so we'll see.

Net CAP should be Net CAP. It shouldn't matter what the taxes are, as they should be in that amount.

There's a promo deal for $299/month with $2999 down for 36/10. If you lump that all together into a payment -- $374+tax. I've always been able to get some concessions off a promo deal -- just wondering if this can be had cheaper.

Does this check out? I'm going to dealership tomorrow. They are supposed to include all weather mats, trunk tray, and splash guards at no extra charge. Agreed upon "sales price" of vehicle is 34,096. I want to make sure they aren't padding it out somewhere. They said I would make advance first month's payment.

I'm within $1 of that quote.

Generally, first payment and any state registration costs should be paid at signing.

But, I don't see any reference to the accessories --- are they on a separate "we owe" document?

Those numbers definitely do not add up.
Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost, and find out what's been added to your deal.
If it was $391/mo., tax included it would be closer.

Thanks for the information. I had asked about a single pay lease because I have a trade and depending on the numbers, a single pay may allow me to hand over my car, get a check and drive away with an RDX. I know how to calculate a traditional lease from info on this site but I don't know how to calculate a single pay - any information is appreciated.

Lastly, RDX AWD W Tech has MSRP of $42,195 including destination. Aside from the $3600 in incentives, is 8% off sticker a reasonable discount or should I try for something near 10%?

I doubt you'll get 8%-10% off MSRP, in addition to the $3600, but it doesn't hurt to try.

A single-pay lease reduces the money factor to .00001.
Calculate it the same way with the lower money factor, then add the payments, and that is the number.

If you put the whole $4800 trade towards the lease, then $217/mo. with just $217 due at signing.

If you ask them for a check back for $3800 from the trade (which is what I would do), then $324/mo, with $324 due at signing. (and, $3800 back to you)

Either way, that's a good deal.

I got quoted $235.59 a month, But the 2019 RDX looks amazing but it's probably coming out like in August and I can't wait that long, Would the 2019 would be more expensive in your opinion

Most assuredly, the 2019 will be a lot more expensive, especially right after it comes out.

I did not understand what you said, If I tell the dealer and say "I want a check for my trade in" Then I would not have a trade or down payment and my monthly will increase to $388.82
