Ended up at 375/2500 Total Out of Pocket on the 28th @ the 11th hour.

Anyone know when production of the current model year RDX stops and when the redesigned model hits the showrooms? Trying to optimize my timing to pick up a 2018 while selection is still good and incentives are at their max.

Considering the incentive, I'd want a lower selling price than that.
Putting $3000 upfront only makes the payment seem cheaper.
1st payment and DMV fees is enough to put upfront. That will give you a reality check on the monthly cost of the vehicle.

I can't speak for TrueCar, but I would assume that price includes dealer discounts and dealer incentives.
The only thing left to deduct would be the $800 customer lease incentive.

I have a few questions. I appreciate the help.

1) I leased 2016 RDX 3 years ago, 36/12, Tech Pckg, AWD and at the time the MF was 0.00112 and the RV was 63%. I am back in the market as the lease is expiring and the dealer is quoting me MF of 0.00039 and 57% RV for 36/7.5. I was excited about the lower MF but then also puzzled by the lower RV. I guess over the last 3 years RDX's resale value and/or quality went down? Or are dealers just uniformly lowering the RV numbers because the MF is so lower - so they can ultimately end up at the same place from payment perspective? Curious about your thoughts since you follow this every day.

2) When you talk about Incentive in your responses to posts - is that referring to the difference between the MSRP value and the sale price?

3) For an RDX 36/7.5 Tech Pck, AWD, a dealer in NJ is quoting me:
MSRP 42,195
Sale Price 37,746
MF 0.00039
RV 57%
For a total of $404 a month before taxes
For an incentive to release an Acura they are offering me to start the new contract five months early (my lease expires in Sept)...basically cover the last 5 months of the lease.
This looks like a fair offer based on your posts but doesnt hurt to check. Can you please let me know? Also what other types of incentives do you see being offered to release and stay with Acura?
