We may be looking at leasing an RDX, I see the advertised deal is - Base AWD. $299Monthly Payment: Term Length (months): 36Due at signing: $3,299Mileage: 10kMSRP: $38,495.

I would think i can negotiate the cap cost down and then have them calculate with the current MF and residual amounts in the advertised lease. We are located in Indianapolis where there are several dealers who will likely compete for our business. Do you think I should show up and ask or It may be better to start with their internet sales contact and ask them to provide their best competitive offers?

Also, can you please supply the current incentives, MF and residual %?

Hi i was wondering if someone can tell.me.if this is a good deal or a rip off- just a heads up this is in canadian dollars. So this is for the 2018 acura rdx tech package. I put my 2010 acura tech csx as down payment/trade in which they valued at $4500. They also gave me lease protection which is valued at $1095. They also said they gave me a rebate of $3000 and for a 2 year lease they are quoting me CAD $390 a month... thoughts?

What you see is nothing more than an ad; you can negotiate a better price, ususally.

And, we do not recommend any up front money other than the first payment and registration costs.

Work with multiple dealers to get the best pricing.

At first thought we wanted the base but it would helpful to know the above so I could calculate lease payments and info for all of the trim levels. I will start with Edmund or KBB fair sale prices and then calculate lease prices for each trim so we can compare. We are in the Indianapolis area. TIA!

Base - $2500 incentives
All other trims - $2750 incentives

MF - same for all trims

RV - 2% less for non-base trims

I'm going to be leasing a 2018 RDX with Technology and AcuraWatch Plus. Dealer quotes me 54% residual (36m/15k) and 0.00047 MF. What are the current incentives ($2500 and $2750)? I am located in NYC. Thanks!

Sorry for the multiple questions but so for 2018 AWD advance in Indiana can you please give me the MF and RVs for 36/12 and 36/10 ? I thought i had the MF at .00170 is it less now at .00047

Doing so would bring me to pretax 0 down lease payment of 377 and residual value would be 23517.

While your logic is correct, we'd suggest you add the acquisition fee and doc fee to the selling price.

We don't have any information for leases with more mileage than 15K; check with your dealer for how the residual is affected.

And, if the car is stolen or totaled before the lease is up, you would lose that money you paid up front.

I'm a spreadsheet type of girl and i prefer to put all my options all in a spreadsheet so i can figure out what will work best for me. I'm struggling to find this info anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Add 2% for 12K/yr or 3% for 10K/yr

Don't consider any other terms than 36 months. That is the sweet spot.

So today at dealer one, they were trying to tell me the lease incentive was already factored into the below invoice sales price and that they couldn't take that price (fair purchase price target i was after) and subtract the 2750 to adjust cap cost.

After pushing them they said the target price i had was below invoice but if i insisted on having the incentive subtracted, the purchase price would have to be more but and reluctantly offered invoice as their lowest sales price - 2750 which will increase my lease payment by around $ 33 per month vs getting the target price - 2750.

I think this is a fairly reasonable deal but being end of month i think they should be able to match the target price and then subtract the 2750. Does this make sense? Is it typical to get a good negotiated price and then in adjusted cap cost see the 2750 actually subtracted?

Tomorrow I will try to get more info from dealer 2 to see where they stand.

You may have found bottom with the first dealer. If dealer 2 will beat that price, you may have yourself a great deal.

The $2500 incentive is all Acura-to-dealer cash. Use your knowledge of it to negotiate a bigger discount.
