Still helping a very indecisive friend. Can you let me know what MF/RV is for an '18 RDX Base AWD with AcuraWatch is for 36/10? Also, if it isn't too much trouble, Tech + AcuraWatch AWD because inventory of the former is scarce.

Pretty sure that all of the RDX incentives are Acura-to-dealer. So, incorporate them into the price you offer.

My math takes "exceptional price" from TrueCar and then applying lease incentive on top for my negotiations. I may get a slightly higher price from dealer. Is this logic correct, or am I doubling up the incentive?

No down, all fees rolled into the monthly payment which translates to $471.93/month. Does math work out ok?

The negotiated sale price is 38,475. The dealer won't budge on this. For what it's worth, 2 other dealers in the area came higher. Does this level of discount feel right relative to MSRP considering the 2019s are right around the corner?

We don't track pricing, so can't tell you if what you're getting can be improved upon.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using for their quote, and how they arrived at that number from the selling price.

Hi - Do you anticipate the lease programs for 2018 RDX to still be strong next month (June) with 2019 models coming out? My lease is up at the end of June and I'm looking to get into a 2018 RDX so I would prefer to wait until next month. There is still plenty of 2018 inventory in my area.

I’m still a little confused on how the incentives work. You mentioned $2050 in lease incentives. Does that mean the selling price they are offering me now would already have the $2050 accounted for off of the MSRP or that I should try for an additional $2050 lower than the $30,360 selling price, or something different altogether?

Also, what is your recommendation to people for what they should put down for a car, $0? Certain fees? 1st month only? That part is also confusing to me still. The dealer most recently asked if I want my payments to be $300 which would obviously be great but then I don’t want him to try and make up the difference elsewhere so I’m trying to figure out how best to keep negotiating without him confusing me.

It's likely the incentives are already included in any price quote from the dealer.

Up front cash should be restricted to the first payment and any registration costs. Roll everything else into the lease payment. If the car is stolen or totaled, you'd lose any money above and beyond that amount.
