I told them to remove dealer upgraded wheels  and put the wheels from factory. The dealer package are the following 

window tint 
paint protection door handles
paint protection edge guards 
paint protection rear bumper 

they want me to put 4500 down to get to the 900 payment. I guess I am getting screwed over correct? 

Yes.. screwed. Even if you pay the $787 upfront (I guess you need tint in Texas), you should be able to get the $964/mo. with just $1750 due at signing.

They were using .00203 MF so I got them to do the .00171 and the residual was at 62% with audicare and they have the payments at 939.39 with 2k down It includes the first payment in the down payment. 

That looks like a decent deal, then. A little better than $964/mo. with $1750 upfront. You won't miss those wheels...

$780/mo. if the sale price = adjusted CAP, with all taxes and fees paid upfront (tax is substantial in TX).
That's 6.5% off MSRP, which is decent for Audi.

I see the lease payments... but, there is no detail for how the numbers were calculated.

You have to ask them for the adjusted CAP cost (for the option you select), and the money factor being used.

They still are not showing you the full picture - the number you need is the adjusted cap cost, with the lease-specific fees (and no sales tax) added in.

The good news is that they are using the base MF of .00171.

With $1500 upfront--
Let's assume your $1500 pays for the first payment and those four fees listed (about $400). That's only about $1350, but close enough..

So, the adjusted CAP will be your sale price, plus $895 acquisition fee, less $1000 loyalty rebate, + tax.
We will have to estimate the tax, since they haven't given you the actual tax for a lease, on any of these documents. I'm estimating it at $2400.. assuming a rate of 7.2%.

.00171 MF

$906.46/mo.

Their price is $960/mo.

Why the difference? We don't know, because they haven't disclosed the adjusted CAP cost, or how they've calculated it. And, even though he gave you the money factor, there is no guarantee that they didn't mark it up when they calculated the lease payment.

Possible explanations:
Undisclosed fees
Marked up money factor
Incorrect sales tax calculation (unlikely)

We won't know, unless they give you the adjusted CAP, and an accounting of how they calculated it.

Did you notice? In the last document, they subtracted the $1000 rebate, but the tax amount went down by over $1400? That seems weird. And, the lease price went down by $183/mo!!! So, looks like they were at least marking it up to begin with.

Just by asking questions, your price has gone down by $183/mo.. Keep asking questions, and maybe we can get it down another $55/mo.

Did you notice that the money factor isn't disclosed? Do you know why? They've marked it up. If it were .00171 base, the payment would be $919.86, and the "Rent Charge" would be $6663.60, not $7832.36

The money factor is marked up to .00201.

I have to say, you are doing a great job, and they are very responsive... .but, it's like pulling teeth..

They dropped the money factor to .00187, but then asked you for $548 more upfront than on the last one.. Net savings to you of about $665...

If they say that's their best offer, then that might be it.. It's only about $500 total from where you were trying to get. Wasn't their first offer about $1140/mo?

$918/mo. with $1500 upfront looks decent.. If this is the car you want, might be time to pull the trigger.

That's a nice note, but on the earlier quote, they only wanted $952 out of pocket (the first payment)

But, heck, if you can get $895/mo, with $1500 out of pocket, instead of $918/mo. with $1500 OOP, then go for it.

MSRP is $62,150, negotiated price including AudiCare is $55,644 or a 10.5% discount . Tax is $3,399 with Doc Fee of $697.50 and Tag and Registration Fee of $805. My total out of pocket is $973 (includes 1st payment of $719 plus $254 in other fees) and 35 payments of $719 on a 36/12K lease. My residual is 63%.

Tax in Florida is collected monthly on the payment, so your tax number is irrelevant. That has to be for a purchase.

Must be Premium Plus trim for a 63% residual?
CAP cost would have to about $57,400 to get that payment.

Looks like a pretty good deal.

Great thanks! I just leased a 2018 SQ5 for $720 a month. $1600 drive off (first payment, fees, etc). 36mo/10k, MSRP on car was $63,775. This is in California.
