The taxes kill you - that's almost $200/mo right there.

But, with those prices, and using a fully marked up MF (.00206), I only get $1677/mo.

Looks like the cap cost in the dealer quote is higher than the "Total" number they've given you.

I get the same payment.

Are you paying the taxes and fees up front? We'd suggest you roll them into the payment; if the car is stolen or totaled, you'd lose that up front money.

Everything is rolled into the monthly payments other than the DMV fees. How does this deal look to you? Doc and DMV fees seem a little high, but everything else looks right. Already at around 9% off MSRP, is this a good mark to be at for this vehicle?

Generally, dealers will make a better deal on a car in inventory.

You'll have to ask the dealer the latest you can order a 2018 X5.

With the 2019 X5's being an all new design , what kind of Dump on the 2018's should we be expecting this summer/fall? Wonder if anyone has seen past history on other BMW models when they have a new car coming out? thanks

What discount from sticker would they give you in order to get the base MF?

You'd have to run the numbers both ways to see what gives you the lower payment.

Unfortunately, the dealers are wising up to this.

No guesses as to what may happen to the programs later this summer. I suppose it would depend on the amount of 2018 inventory at the dealer.

I'm unable to reverse engineer the selling price on a single pay lease. Just ask them.

Lastly, I’d have to assume the RV would be low as the 2019 model is coming out; conversely, I would expect a better deal due to the fact the 2019 model is coming out.  Any advice how I should be thinking about this?

You can think about it all you want, but the numbers given are what you have to work with, regardless.

Dealers have to work with the same program. Ascribing relative worth to the vehicle, because of competition, new models, etc, doesn't have any real effect on the actual numbers.

It's a CAP cost reduction to your negotiated price.
