Thanks. I got a quote from a dealer with the following information:

MSRP = $115,695
Sell price = $109,910.25 + $3,000 in incentives

First months payment down only and the payment quoted was $1,620/month. I'm not even sure how they got to that but that seems really high. I've gone back to them and asked for clarification on the actual NET CAP COST and the MF/RV they are using along with any additional fees.

Does the monthly payment of $1,620/month seem really high for this vehicle?

Yes, $1620 seems high.... but, $115K MSRP seems pretty high for an SUV, as well..

What is the selling price?

We recommend rolling in the acquisition fee and the dealer fee into the monthly payment. That money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

Interesting point on dealer fees and acq fees being baked into the monthly.  Is this a common thing or something that would only happen if I specifically asked for it?

I would also recommend rolling in the sales tax to the payment, as well, for the same reasons.

I'm sure lots of deals in NJ have the taxes rolled in; it shouldn't be a surprise to the dealer that you want to do the same.
