Firstly, thanks for all of the work you do here - the information is extremely, and useful - I used the site three years ago and got a solid deal on my 2016 Mazda 6 GT.

Nonetheless, I'm looking for MF and Residual on a 2018 Civic Coupe EX-T trimline.

Lease would be 36/10k - I'm in Northern NJ.

I have a dealer currently offering me $225/month, tax and first month up front. Trying to get him to send a one sheet with the deal points to see if the other fees are rolled up in the payment.

I'm more interested in the EX with an MSRP of $24,040 is trying to negotiate down to 21k attainable? I want to present an aggressive offer since I'm ready to pull the trigger tomorrow but don't want to be unreasonable, any advice on what to shoot for would be greatly appreciated!

I think the biggest discount I've seen is $3300 on a sedan.
The sedan has $600 higher incentive, so that would translate to $2700 discount on the hatch.

That assumes all else is equal, but it almost never is... It's possible they have less inventory of hatches, and they are more popular? That's the sort of thing you have to judge for yourself.

So, $21K is probably a stretch, but it doesn't hurt to try... I'd guess that somewhere between 21,500 and $22,000 would get it done..

I would think the Civic is leasing much better than the Accord.  If you want to see a Honda with a horrible leasing program, check out the CRV board.  You have to be insane to lease one.

Prefer the Accord, but it seems Honda is not motivated. Do you think that will change as we move closer to the 2019 hitting the lots? Or, put another way what time of year historically has the best leasing rates and incentives? Thanks.
