Hi ! I am planning to lease a 2018 Honda Civic Ex(with sensing) in San Diego, CA. Could you help me out with the MF for this model and also the RV percentage ? Thanks !
.00124 MF
$1400 lease cash
54% residual for 36/15
Thanks ! I also want to share what happened to me at the dealership last weekend. I was in the lookout for an 2018 Honda EX with sensing Civic Sedan with MSRP 23130. I negotiated and got the final sales price (before tax) to 20461. The guy gave me a lease quote as follows,
Term- 36 months RV- 56% Monthly payment- 315(after tax) with 0 down
I wasn’t expecting this high lease payment, that too after so much reduction from MSRP, and so after looking carefully found that they used an MF of 0.0028 (6.8 %) to calculate the monthly lease payment, which is really really high. Considering the actual MF is 0.00124, I would be paying almost 55-60 bucks more in my monthly payment !!!!!
Is this generally done by Honda or any other dealers ? Also would they recalculate the monthly payment using the actual MF value (0.00124 in this case) if we point this out to them ?

Do you know that they were using Honda Finance to source the lease?
I would politely ask them about that, and see if the payment quote changes.
Also, they may have quoted a higher MF until they run your credit and learn that you qualify for the best terms.
Hi can I please get the money factor, residual 36/12 and 36/15,and lease cash for a 2018 Civic LX sedan in Massachusetts 02067.
Local dealer is quoting a $88/month (36/12) with 3K down (doc, tax, and fees additional), which I consider a great deal, but only concern is the down payment as I've read that one should not put down a lot on a lease. MSRP is 20530 and Net Cap Cost is 17215. Thoughts.
Yeah, that $3K equates to $83/mo, so the true lease cost is $171/mo plus tax.
Still, pretty good for a $20K car.
Ask if they'll do $160/mo plus tax, and $0 down
Dealer agreed to 164/mo + tax and "zero down" ($1200 covered 1st month and govt/dealer fees). I'm happy and appreciate the assistance from this forum.

Just finalized my lease and drove my new car home! Couldn’t have gotten the deal I did without the help from this forum.
2018 Civic Si Sedan 36/12 lease $260/mo, only first payment and registration due at signing. MSRP 24990 Selling Price 21310
The dealership tried to upsell dealer pre-installed accessories at signing. I declined, but they couldn’t be bothered to remove them, so I got the wheel locks, splash guards, all season mats and trunk liner for free.

this forum empowered me to read it, get in the car, drive a Civic SI and lease Civic SI in about 2 hours-thx! 2018 Ticket me red SI Sedan. (includes OK taxes of about $1150 OUCH will show both
Agreed Selling price $21,600 Rolled in lots of junk: AFee $595, Taxes ($1150), Protection Package required $699 (Tint, locks and floor/trunk mats-worth about $350 all said)
0 Down, 290x36, 3 yrs/12k with no taxes would have been $258x36. OKLAHOMA tax on lease sucks.
Dealer was not happy that I know all the lease features from this forum. I simply said here is the deal to make.

Hi. I wanted to see if any of the numbers have changed from earlier posts Looking to lease a 2018 Civic EX with the $22,130 MSRP zip is 92122 and looking at 36/12 also is there still any lease cash or other incentives? And how does that work? Is that simply cap reduction as if I myself were putting the cash down?

I am looking for a 2018 Civic Si sedan in zip 94591, My dealer is offering one at MSRP-$24990, Cap:$21604, Residual-$14994, Down-$2199, 36 month/12K miles, monthly $229. Is this a good deal? Do you know the Money Factor at this time? Thanks.

.00124 MF $1400 lease cash 60% residual
I agree with the calculations, though I'll note that it's $229/mo.+tax
Is $2199 the full amount due at signing? Is this an actual offer, or just an advertisement?

This is listed as a regional offer. and $2199 is drive off.

My guess is that if you read the fine print, you'll see that taxes and fees are in addition to the $2199.
And, you may be able to do better if you negotiate the price yourself.

You were correct regarding tax not included. I wasn't sure if this was good deal since I have not seen many offers for the Si. Thanks.
