    My dealer is trying to tell me he is going to lose money on a deal if he gives me lease cash. This sounds like a load of crap. Am I correct in assuming lease cash is between the manufacturer and customer and not the dealer?

    Don't worry about what the dealer will or won't make - trust me, they won't agree to a deal if they are losing money.

    The lease cash on the Civic is factory to customer; find a price you're comfortable with, before incentives, and stick to it. Lots of Honda dealers out there; it only takes one to meet your numbers.

    What is the RV and MF on Civic EX sedan (no Sensing)? 36/12k lease. Zip 44145 OH

    I was offered $268/month and $571 due (includes first month). MSRP: 22,130, sales price: 19,995. I’m trading in ’15 EX with 18K mile, excellent condition. Net cap cost: 20,980. I believe dealer said RV is 57% and MF is .0024 (or something close). Didn’t mention lease deals/incentives. Not exactly sure how that comes into play? Advice? Thank you.

    I get the same payment with that NET CAP. The incentive is included in the discount from MSRP. The extra $985 in the net CAP is acquisition fee and tax, since it looks like you are paying doc fee and DMV upfront.

    What's wrong with your 2015 Civic that you need to trade? If you are only driving 5K mi/yr, you are paying for 12K/yr on a lease.

    Thanks. Nothing is wrong except that the lease is up. I live close to work so I just don't put the miles on. I could extend it I suppose, but I'd like to get into something new with a warranty, etc. Probably should be considering something else but I love the Civic. I wish they had 10K leases.

    If I was only driving 5K mi/year, I'd buy a Honda. You know they are known for reliability, right? ;)

    Even your 2015 might be a really good buy for the residual, since it has such low mileage

    I agree... With $1000 lease cash and a $400 doc fee, that's only $800 discount from the dealer.
