Residual was 13417.25 and Cap was *supposedly* 21500, but it wasn't written anywhere on the offer... May have left out destination or something. Only $199 in fees, so it's not coming from that.

$2,199 total due at signing.
(Includes down payment with no security deposit. Excludes taxes, title and either dealer fees or documentary service fee.)
Fine print:

Actual net capitalized cost $18,794.37.
Total monthly payments $7,524.00.
Option to purchase at lease end $12,451.65 (this is residual value I believe)

What I want to know is:
1) How is the Net cap of 18794 reached? (21845 - 18794 does not equal 2199. After subtracting 2199, what's left is 852. I really doubt Honda cash incentive is 852. That's a weird number).
2) Is the MF on this specific deal the usual 0.00105?
3) What is the bonus cash amount Honda is providing for this, if any?
4) Is my calculated residual value of 57% accurate?

I'm trying to negotiate this deal without the $2199 due at signing but I can't understand how Honda is even getting to the $209/mo. The numbers don't add up any way I work it so I must have something wrong in my calcs.

1. The $852 is the "dealer contribution" (aka discount). You may be able to negotiate a better price than that.
2. Yes; Honda dealers cannot mark up the discounted MF
3. The $1000 lease cash we noted above is part of this deal
4. Yes; the dealer cannot alter the residual value. It is set by the bank.

On-line lease calculators often make assumptions we know nothing about.
