Net Cap Cost: $20,925. Residual: $17,356. Lease requires approved credit; based on 12,000 miles per year, $0.15 per mile excess. Lease for $149 per month for 24 months with $1,278 due at signing (this includes $0 cash or trade down, first month's payment of $149, documentary preparation fee of $479, and bank acquisition of $650). Tax, title, registration, and inspection fees are additional. Security deposit waived“ factoring in RI sales tax at 7% my monthly is in the 170-180 with 0 down except first payment. Am I doing this right? I am getting quotes in the mid 2s with 0 down except first payment. I’m just trying to figure out what would be cost basically since MF is so low and if I take all the lease cash as a discount what is my floor on this car based on pure lease math.

You can be sure that the lease cash is already accounted for in the advertisement.

Why not just call up the dealer with the ad, and ask them for the actual payment including tax, and the upfront amount? See how it matches up with the ad.
