The MF is for top tier credit. Rarely do Acura dealers mark it up.

Residual is fixed by the bank, and cannot be altered.

Incentive is in two parts - $750 dealer cash and $1300 lease cash. Lease cash is a consumer incentive and will show up on the contract as a cap reduction. Dealer cash will be factored into whatever price the dealer offers.

Thank you Michaell! If the MSRP is $58150, and we have agreed on a sale price of $53150 for purchase, the net capital cost for lease should be $50200 before any other fees, correct?

$750 of the incentive is for purchase or lease
The other $2200 is lease only.

They are both dealer incentives, and will be included in any offer.
If your negotiated price was for purchase, and not lease, then you should be able to negotiate another $2200 off on a lease. But, it's not a consumer rebate.. you have to negotiate the price.

I just made a deal with Ferman Acura in Tampa. Great price and very easy/honest dealer. 2018 MDX Sport Hybrid for $550 Tax in (6%), with $550 plus tag transfer out of pocket ($250). I was receiving quotes for a 2018 Tech for $600 plus tax and $1000 out of pocket. The hybrid is $53095 retail.

That's assuming your $1300 covers DMV/doc fees, in addition to the first payment.

Getting close to my first ever lease on a MDX Sport Hybrid + Adv. Package.

MSRP 59,145 (include destination fee)
Sale Price 52,300 (after dealer discount, lease incentive)
Fees 1,300 (include dealer fee, acquisition fee, tag)
Tax Rate 3%

My calculation for a 36/12 lease with 54% RV and 0.00035 MF gives me ~$650 monthly pay ($602 Depreciation + $30 Interest + $19 Tax).

Is there any flaw in my calc? The dealer is within $2 on total monthly pay, but it has $34 tax. I guess I should not care as long as the total monthly pay is correct, right?

If I add the $1300 to the selling price, I get $650/mo as well.

But, I'd ask them about the tax calculation.

And please forgive my ignorance, I am new here and never leased a vehicle. Sounds like that the vehicle lease price can be negotiated from MSRP? How is that compare to current Acura featured special lease, could you potentially may negotiate a better deal with a dealership? Current Acura lease requires $3,299 down, is it a good idea to put less money down? Also the dealership quotes me with taxes, title and dealer fees $5300 total amount due including $3299. Also they really encouraging me to do a trade in for our 2011 MDX and put that money toward the lease to lower payment and save on taxes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is all sounds so confusing for me. Thank you kindly!

You can do better than the national program, if you are a decent negotiator.

We recommend only first payment and registration costs be paid at signing, and if you have a trade with equity, don't use that to buy down the payment, either. Have the dealer give you a check for the equity amount (after the first payment and registration costs are accounted for)

AZ has pretty high DMV fees, and their dealers are known for big dealer fees, as well.
Along with the $595 Acura lease acquisition fee.
Add in some window tint, or other accessories, and your total price can easily go up by $2500.
You have to ask them for an itemization of all charges.

To follow-up, the quotes I received do include the 595 acq. fee, and one supposed add-on, like a $799 taxable a.m.o., after market options. After a little back and forth, I received a new quote of $625 per month for 3 years w/ $1,000 down & 15K miles per year on a MDX FWD w/Tech, with 3 years of all scheduled maintenance per the Acura owner's manual, supposedly based on tier 2 credit and MF. I was originally quoted at $599 per month, 15K miles w/ $1K down around July 4th, but it was brought to my attention that the RV and MFs changed recently. The newer deal apparently includes a residual or buy out price of 25,789 based on the 49,595 MSRP. Good deal?
