TC price likely includes incentives not compatible with the leasing program.

We don't track prices, so can't tell you how much lower you can go. You can present a new price to the dealer and see if they accept it or not.

I agree with the calculated payment, as is.

And to confirm, I would negotiate the vehicle price from MSRP and then I would apply any incentives off that number? Just want to make sure the dealer isn't trying to use their incentives to tell me they're reducing the MSRP.

Both models

$750 of the incentives is dealer cash, and will be part of any discount offered by them.

Negotiate your best deal, knowing about the $750, then deduct the $2200 from that.

Not without the MSRPs or the fine print.

The MDX money factor is so low, that you don't get full advantage of the one-pay MF discount. I'd much rather do a standard lease.

Just wanted to share a quote I received for a 2018 MDX Sport Hybrid Advance for $658 with zero down (except 1st payment) including tax (6.625%) and all other fees. I was considering a 2019 RDX Advance but decided on the MDX. MSRP was 11k less but the payment was the same even with 1k loyalty. No pull ahead on the 2019 RDX so once I factored my remaining payments, the lease would have been $700. IMHO it may be worth considering the MDX if you are shopping. Give the RDX some time work out the bugs and come back down to earth with their lease price.

I’ve never leased and this may be a stupid question so please bear with me. Is depreciation factor applied to the negotiated price or MSRP? If, for example, a Awd tech model is negotiated to say $45k and the residual is 54% can the buyout be as low as $24300? Because that is about $10-12k less than they are priced on sales lots.

Residual is calculated against the MSRP.

You still want to negotiate the lowest price, as the difference between that price and the residual value is what determines the depreciation portion of your payment.

Thanks for quick reply Michaell. I understand about negotiating the price but I didn’t know which amount the residual percentage applied to.....MSRP or negotiated price. Read a lot “how to lease” articles and they just explain what residual value is and not how it is arrived at.

I'm getting $447/mo before tax, assuming a cap cost of $41,997. Confirm with the dealer what cap cost they are using for their payment quote.

$50/mo is about $1800 off the CAP cost. Won't know if it's possible unless you ask.

Acura programs don't expire until 9/1.

FL taxes the monthly lease payment.

The only upfront tax should be tax on CAP cost reduction.
Where did you get the $2465 tax amount?

The numbers on the left are under the heading, Cash Option. They are for a purchase.

The quote doesn't give you the actual numbers that result in the lease payment, though some of the information is useful. Like knowing they have an $800 dollar dealer fee.
No mention of the acquisition fee.
