TLX is ordered. I went back and to see what the Advance payment would be. Not worth the extra $100 a month I was quoted. Keep you updated.

Can I have the residual, mf and incentives for zip 34711 for the 19 TLX i4 both the ASPEC and advance package. Would the v6 model have different numbers? 36m/12k miles

Based on previous years, does anyone have an educated guess if the incentives will be any better/worse next month?

based off of my experience in car sales they MIGHT stay the same. but if i'm not mistaken, december is the month to buy. more leverage on buyers end if the sales guy/girl needs to hit quota etc...

Past information does not predict future programs.

In other words, no guesses from me.

Which trim do you like better?

Would not be good to make a decision based on the deal, then determine that you don't like the car.

Do you know the CAP costs for those two quotes? Pretty sure $750 won't cover all the up front costs you'll have, especially in Florida (home to the excessive doc fee)

I currently have the TLX Tech but would like the A-Spec package so that it would feel more like a new car, just not sure that it is worth the extra money for essentially cosmetic details. I do not have the CAP costs but was told that the $750 is the total due at signing and that tags are included in both prices.

I did ask, the response was that the cap cost would be off because of tax and tag. Not sure I totally understand that as he later said that the tag cost was all factored in and the tax was included in the stated monthly price.

    That's just obfuscation.

Yeah I had to stop talking to an out of area dealer for the same reason. As long as you know the numbers you'll be fine.

My first offer from a dealer here was MSRP - $6500 discount. That $6500 discount included the $6425 incentive + flex cash . So the real discount was $75.

Ok, here is the info I received:

A-Spec - Selling price is $36,195.50, Cap Cost is $34,195.50 with $750 total due at signing for $475/month tax in. They are using $2000 (maybe flex cash) on A-Spec.

What's your tax rate and registration fees? I used my KS tax rate of 9.65% which I think is high and got $450 a month.

I'm debating between the 2.4 and 3.5 A-Spec. I've been reading on the forums lately a vibration issue with the V6 due to the VCM and vibrating when the 2 cylinders shut down.

Doing a full test drive tomorrow.

I have the deals squared away already just need to pick which one

I've tested CPO versions of both engines - while I like the power of the V6, I think the 4-cyl causes the car to feel a bit sportier.

Looking to purchase a TLX Aspec w/ Technology package. MSRP is 45,795 (with destination charge). I'm curious what incentives are available in December.

I don't think leasing is a good option for me, since I drive over 15k a year and sometimes 20k plus.

    Zip code is 46902.

I do not have a trade in, and I do not have a preference if I finance through Acura or purchase with cash. I also have never owned an Acura or Honda before.

At the present time, the best price I have been offered is the following:
    45795.00 MSRP
    43000.00 Selling price
-2000.00 Rebate to finance with Acura
    16.25 Gov't Fee
    199.00 Doc Fee
    3010.00 Taxes
    ------
    44,226.15

From what I'm seeing from the research I've seen, it shouldn't be unreasonable to get the walk out the door price down to approximately $41,000.

Thank you for the information and help in advance.

Don’t be afraid to lease when you drive over 15K per year.  I drive at least 20K per year on my car (which I currently own), but I am constantly pushing those who ask towards leasing.  Remember, the biggest cost of car ownership is depreciation.  Leasing allows that depreciation to be fixed which is a wonderful thing.  You don’t have to worry about a minor or major accident showing up on the carfax.  You don’t have to worry about the value of your trade in (which won’t be the low mileage cream puff that dealers try to keep for CPO cars).  Remember, the dealer will have X Amount of CPO cars on the lot, most (if not all) will have lower mileage than your 15K + per year trade in.

Companies try to make it easier to lease and want your loyalty.  I believe Acura forgives up to 7,500 miles and waves the disposition fee IF you lease another Acura.  Even so, paying a few bucks in over mileage charges won’t be as bad as trading a car in with 10, 15, or 20K more than you anticipated.

As far as the TLX goes, you need to get that selling price WAY down.

The lease incentives are $2850 higher than finance incentives on this trim.
So, trying to match the prices you see from members who are leasing is probably not a good comparison.
That doesn't mean you can't do better than your current offer, though.

I would certainly finance to get that $2000 rebate, even if I paid it off after 90 days.

Thank you for the information and thoughts about a lease which caused me to ask for a lease for 36/12. Can you give me the incentives and MF for a Aspec w/ Technology package for 46240 and 49512 please?

I'm trying to find another dealer to quote because the first came in at 521 a month with $1000 down, the residual was 50%.
    Thanks for your help.
