Got this initial quote via email on AWD tech -- seems like too high of quote given the sale price. I've asked for breakdown of cap cost and MF and awaiting reply.

    .00093 and 52% (Tech) or 50% (A-Spec)
    Lease cash
    $4100 A-Spec
    $4925 Tech

Once you get the CAP cost, we can investigate.

Any idea on what I should expect from dealers when it comes to their sales price before manufacture incentives on a 2.4L Aspec? I've quoted a half dozen or some dealers and they're willing to give the full $2,000 flex cash and $4,100 lease incentive but most are only offering 2k off MSRP for a around $8.1k off. I had one that only offered $1k off and another that offered $3k off.

I'm kind of surprised at how low they're willing to take off in the bay area and norcal. The TMV tool on Edmunds shows between $3-4k off from dealers. How much total are people getting off for the 2019 TLX 2.4L Aspec? I'm only seeing a total of between $7-9k off from my area.

He quoted it with $1,000 total:
    $454.32 first payment
$335.15 in fees (not sure breakdown here)
    $191.39 extra down

I’m thinking given the incentives (and possible flex cash) there may be some more room to move.

    MF and residual for
    2019 TLX. A Spec 2.4
    36/12
    Zip 12065

Also, what exactly is “flex cash”
and the lease cash that I’ve read about in previous posts is standard across all dealerships?

    $4100 incentive

The incentives listed are specific to model/trim, etc.

Flex cash is an extra incentive that Acura gives dealers to move cars. They have some parameters they have to adhere to, but where and how they use it, is up to them. It's not tied to a specific model

Just got an offer for a 3.5 TLX AWD BASE model for $418 a month. 36months/12k miles

    MSRP is $39125...

    Is it a good deal?

Looks like sale price is exactly $31500 to get 418 a month, using a lease calculator.

I was given a residual of $21,005 at the dealer.
    MSRP is 40,395.
Thats a 48% residual which is low compared to what I’m reading.
They gave me an adjusted sale price of 38,098 which I wanted to negotiate. They claimed to not have much wiggle room on the sale price which I believe is BS.

Why the difference in the residual though?

Hello , i was just at the acura dealership. i saw a 2019 tlx a spec msrp 41k . they gave me the following deal but i walked away:
    36/10k 53% res
    33,500 sale price
    437$ a month including 6% tax
$1000  drive away costs .includes tag and first payment

edit: correction . the MSRP is $39,445. $33,500 sale price
Drive off :1000$ .that includes first month $437 tax included, tag and 1000$ down payment (they said they'll match that with another 1000$ flex cash)
33009zip and im not sure of what MF they have on it.

    how does it look?
What is the CAP cost for that quote, and how did the dealer arrive at that number from the selling price?

Just got back from the dealership .
I ended up getting the MSRP $40.395 2.5 a spec @$366 no tax ($386 with tax and for $12 more a month to a total of $398 i got $366 maintenance plan included in the payment)
at signing i payed $1620 which included first month, dealer fee,tag and state taxes.

agreed upon value of vehicle $33658 Gross cap cost $34619 residual after 36 months $21409
    term 36 / 10k miles
got tints included in the deal as well
i personally think i did good.

    Dealer cannot alter the residual.

Confirm the trim, option packages, term and mileage for that residual number.

Congrats, and enjoy the new Acura.

thank you unfortunately i didnt enjoy at all... im not sure if what i am about to share is for this thread but here goes...
last night after coming back from the dealer i spent an hour trying to lock the car after shutting it off... it didnt want to until it somehow finally did and i thought that may be it.... this morning i had to get to work and it didnt want to lock again so the screens had to be on for hours at a time...it seems like that completely drained the battery and after waiting for two hours for roadsite assistance the tow guy wasnt able to jump start it and finally had to tow it back to the dealership a few hours ago....

unbelievable...a total of 21 miles driven before it had to go back to the dealership...i hope its an option because im not sure i want to get behind the wheel of that or any acura again...so disappointing!

33009zip and im not sure of what MF they have on it.

    how does it look?
What is the CAP cost for that quote, and how did the dealer arrive at that number from the selling price?
Just got back from the dealership .
I ended up getting the MSRP $40.395 2.5 a spec @$366 no tax ($386 with tax and for $12 more a month to a total of $398 i got $366 maintenance plan included in the payment)
at signing i payed $1620 which included first month, dealer fee,tag and state taxes.

agreed upon value of vehicle $33658 Gross cap cost $34619 residual after 36 months $21409
    term 36 / 10k miles
got tints included in the deal as well
i personally think i did good.
    what do you think?
    I think you did well.

Give the dealer a chance to look it over … could be a simple problem.

Hello , i was just at the acura dealership. i saw a 2019 tlx a spec msrp 41k . they gave me the following deal but i walked away:
    36/10k 53% res
    33,500 sale price
    437$ a month including 6% tax
$1000  drive away costs .includes tag and first payment

what do you guys think? can i get something lower closer to 400 a month?

edit: correction . the MSRP is $39,445. $33,500 sale price
Drive off :1000$ .that includes first month $437 tax included, tag and 1000$ down payment (they said they'll match that with another 1000$ flex cash)
33009zip and im not sure of what MF they have on it.

sure it might be,but the inconvenience it caused me...look at it from my perspective...i only drove 10 miles before it started giving me problems, and another 10 before i wasnt able to move it at all again costing me hours upon hours trying todiagnose it myself before having to wait for a tow truck for two + hours.. ive lost my faith in that particular car..if they maybe give me a completely new car i MIGHT agree to take it..

went back to the dealer to them saying they changed the battery and that now its fine.i was getting ready to leave but it happened again and i called the manager to see that it STILL cant lock of shut off... i did have another fob from another car of mine in the car so we thought that was the culprit.sure enough when we removed it from the car it started fine...the manager gave me an Acura hat haha and i was fine to go...fast forward to 30mins later when i stopped at the grocery store...it didn't want to lock again... so tomorrow i am going and he will supposedly ship the same exact car from another dealer supposedly and give me that one instead...at first he was offering me a 3.5L model but when i called him 10mins later he said he will ship the same model..so tomorrow im going and at the minimum asking for the maintenance fee waived.

January numbers in for TLX AWD ASPEC 36/10 66218?

Looking online, it kinda looks like a continuation of the incentives prior minus the flex cash rebate?

Is there any flex cash or is that it for incentives? Looks like RV is 1% lower. Was 53 % on a 36/10.

Looks like with lack of flex cash and reduced RV I'll wait again. Infiniti reduced as well. Prob just wait until 2020 TLX comes

Good luck getting a good deal with these atrocious residuals. Even with huge discounts and low money factor, the monthly payments are still high for an outgoing model.
