Still a good deal imho, since you can probably lease a 2019 TLX Tech 2.4 for less than the price of a less-well equipped 2018 BMW 320i. And the Acura is slightly faster than the 320i.

TLX V6 Tech SHAWD Residual at 10k/year, 36 mo, 92602?

    Guessing it's either .50 or .51

    Thanks.

Does the Edmunds TMV consider incentives in its calculation, or is that what we should shoot for with the dealer discount before incentives? $38,669 is the Edmunds TMV for the SHAWD Tech for my area.

    Tyler

    What MSRP?

As the lease incentives are factory to dealer, I'm pretty sure they are not part of the TMV calculation.

Yes, then TMV likely does not include the lease incentives

Dealer is confusing me. They are rolling all of the incentives and dealer discount up into a total discount of $9000 on the $43095 vehicle (430/mo tax included, with $1450 drive off). I believe were $625 apart on what I would consider to be a fair deal.

    2019 TLX v6 tech w/ AWD

    MSRP : 43095
    Discount : 9,000
    selling price : 34,095
    doc fee : 80.00
    acquistion fee : 595
    license : 439

    Drive off : 1450

    net capt cost : $34,266.69

    money factor : .00084
    residual : 50%

    miles per year : 10k

base monthly payment : 400.19 plus tax
monthly payment including tax : 431.20
  • Drzoidberg44Drzoidberg44 Member Posts: 83
You're effectively paying $460 for an AWD tech. That's not a good deal. You need to get sale price down to $32-33k with no money to reduce cap.
  • FdfnjFdfnj Member Posts: 23
I was only able to get a $7,300 discount on the same MSRP on 1/2, so $9,000 is a very good discount. Your due at signing also looks fair.

I need 15k per year and the residual kills the deal the deal for me.

Please let us know of any Acura dealers willing to give a $10k+ discount. I agree that this car should be able to be leased for less, but the leasing terms are set by the manufacturer. The low residual values are killing the monthly payments.

Acura is already throwing crazy money at this car. The dealer can only discount the car so much.

    The calculated payment is correct.
With a $5425 incentive from Acura, the effective discount is $3675 (8.5% of MSRP)
Seems like a good deal, to me.

I'm asking for 9625 off because Honcker has the same car, but with a dumb 625 clearguard dealer option I cannot remove, for the same price.

Almost every. With $5425 in incentive and $2k in flex cash, $10k isn't hard. The TLX is all wrong for the market. The sales are have declined steadily all year, this is an expensive sedan in a crossover hungry market, and a a very old platform with a refresh in less than 9 months.

Might as well wait for end of march. Acura fiscal year ends, might be better deals.

The flex cash Dealers had for December is gone for January, unfortunately. I'd get an Accord platform all day long over the TLX, but Accords have no SHAWD and no V6, and I love the Honda V6s.

My dealer offered flex for January. I got another offer for $36.5 sale price on the AWD Aspec. I previously had an offer for $35.5k and I would have pulled the trigger if it was in stock, but they had to order it. That time actually made me "cool down" and not really want the TLX. If over the next few months, the deal gets better, I'll consider.

For now the TLX is a no go unless you get $12k off. RV is a joke, the MF is still high for outgoing model. Incentives are pretty good at least.
  • Bdump450Bdump450 Member Posts: 23
I agree - the RV is overly conservative considering 2015 TLX bases with low mileage right now are fetching 20k. When the $6k+ incentive drops for March, or if we have a President's Day deal, with the same RV we are looking at really good end-of-lease equity.

I really want a TLX, but can't get any dealer to give me realistic pricing. I was and ASPEC and don't really care if it has a V6 or AWD, but would take them if it was a good deal. I have contacted over 10 dealers and the biggest discount I can get is $6k and that includes incentives. Any tips you have for me? No one will budge, I've never seen anything like it.

I simply went to TrueCar, so what they were selling for and subtracted incentives.

Before I wanted the AWD Aspec, I got an offer for the AWD Tech for sale price $32,200 with $43,095 MSRP. Sales are declining on these rapidly, so they should be wanting to clear them here in about March if you can wait.

I'm honestly over the TLX now. I'm looking at leasing the CR-V. It has a near 0% MF and 10% higher RV. Even paying MSRP nets a good deal lol.

I'll just wait until the 2020 comes out.

All my local dealers have them listed for MSRP on true car. Just got a quote on a 2019 TLX V6 AWD ASPEC for $670 DAS and $670/mo. How does he figure that is reasonable? Having trouble getting him to share his numbers. I think I will have to move on.

That's absurd. My highest first pencil was $597 a month with $0 down. If they aren't sharing sale price, cap cost, or cap reduction. Move on. They are a shady dealer.

Acura is in big trouble if they continue making offers like this on $40,000 cars. Do they really expect people to sign deals for $600-$700 a month?

The incentives are Acura to dealer. They don’t have to give it to you all. The most they get on ASPEC is $4100 but it looks like they want to pocket $1000 of it. Nothing wrong with that, it’s business.

I gave up on it, personally, as I’ve said a lot. Your best bet until December is either March or wait until 2020 release.

I will soon be returning my 2016 ILX A-spec lease to get a TLX or possibly RDX. Was told by dealer I qualify for pull ahead but RDX is excluded from that.

Dealers are quoting some high monthly payments for just the base TLX AWD. I was hoping to get an AWD ASPEC if I can get a decent deal.

If anyone has the MF, RV and any incentives for the 2019 TLX 3.5L ASPEC 36/7500 for 06469, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!
