I would like to know how dealership is coming up with these lease numbers. I've put them in my lease calculator and I'm not getting same numbers. This are both DEMO cars 2019 with over 4000 miles on each. Below are the numbers: I am located in 32256 with a 7% tax. Lease would be 36 months 10,000 miles. They have included $2000 loyalty credit and $750 lease credit. Also they are saying I will have a tag fee of around $200. I already have a new tag on my current lease that is not expiring until January 2020 so why am I having to eat that cost?

1st Vehicle:
2019 BMW 530I Odometer 4896
MSRP: 58765

1) The sales tax is an informational line. It isn't added in to calculate the lease payment, as FL taxes the monthly payment. If they've made it part of the "total", then they aren't being straight with you. There will be some upfront sales tax on the rebates, but that's only $200 or so.
2) .00228 is marked up from the base rate, for extra profit. It has nothing to do with the car being "used". It's the maximum markup that BMWFS allows
3) Your actual Due at Signing is $1750?
4) I don't see the acquisition fee listed. $925
5) The 11%-12% or so discount isn't bad. But, they are clawing some of that discount back with the dealer fee and the money factor markup. The money factor markup is adding about $38/mo. to the payment.


I'd want another $1000-$1500 off MSRP and the base money factor (.00188)
On the second deal, if you take another $1500 off, and use .00188 MF, the payment drops by about $85/mo.

What do you guys think of this lease? Keep in mind I live in Chicago, IL and would have to fly to MD for pick up. I also want to trade in my 2015 328i xDrive. I'm likely going to be dealing with $3-4k in negative equity. The trade is not in the quote. I haven't disclosed the trade to the dealer yet.

Kind of an incomplete picture without the trade value factored into the deal.

But, figure to add an extra $100/mo easy to the payment, depending on how much negative equity there is.

Any reason you can't find the car closer to you?

Assuming about $1000 of the $4299 is going to CAP reduction, the payment looks about right.
Over 9.5% off MSRP looks like a good discount.

I finally have my 530e on order, but won't be here until May I'm doing the Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina, so the wait will be worth it. I'm going to have to ask for numbers for a few more months.

Could I have March's RV, MF and incentives for the 2019 530e xDrive, 36mo/12k miles.

Can you check two zips as I ordered from a dealer in PA.

Hi all, with the help of this forum, I feel I got a great deal on a new M550i. I executed 2/28 since there were fairly strong incentives for February. Hopefully they didn't get much better today!

MSRP = $90,485
Selling Price = $82,340 (9% discount)
Add on = $600 for Maintenance+
Term = 36 month/12k miles annually
Residual = 59%
MF = .00188 (dealer wanted to mark up but I stood my ground)
Incentives = $3500 ($1500 lease cash + $2000 loyalty)
Cash down = $2000 (first months payment, dealer/govt fees, tax on cap cost reduction, and ~$180 to get to round number)

Final Payment = $1076 pretty darn close to 1% of MSRP for a luxury car.

Note: My loyalty credit was based on my BMW Motorcycle ownership. Some dealers were not aware that this qualified, but it was confirmed by BMW NA.

You'll have to check with California about any possible state EV rebate. I'm not sure this model qualifies.

Whatever you do, don't test drive the 540 first, and you'll not want to test drive either of the other two.

Yes, that is top tier.

With 7 MSDs, you can go to .00142

Dealers can markup the money factor by as much as .00040

Yes, residual is fixed by model, term and mileage allowance
