Working on a deal to lease a 540i xdrive. MSRP on car is 67335 and looking at a 36/15 lease in zip 12601. I am in existing BMW lease customer with an expiring lease. I have pick up MF and residual info from prior posts but interested in two things. 1 - What lease incentives or combinations of incentives am I eligible for. 2 - What should be a reasonable target discount range from dealer on the care BEFORE the incentives are applied from the answer to question 1. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Yes $100/month apart. I’m just guessing on the $400 in fees, using what I’ve seen from other dealers. They charge a doc fee of $179. I have dealerships closer, but I’m looking for a demo to get a better discount.

If you live hours away, and you are $100/mo apart, and they refuse to show you the numbers?

Seems pretty obvious that the deal is not as advertised. Just move on from that dealer.

We have really only had our very first conversation so the dance has just started and none of the numbers have gotten serious yet (from them). This would be vehicle #5 I have acquired from them and typically it comes down to me telling them my acceptable number. I understand that for any transaction to be good it has to be fair for both sides. So what I was trying to do was some homework so I went in with a fair and reasonable target for them to reach, ultimately for the actual cap cost in the lease that gets used as that is the real bottom line that effects me.

I've ended up with a second more formal quote from a dealer a bit further away from me that was quick to give me some real numbers. On this particular 540xi the MSRP is 68,820 and they were willing to do a 36/15 lease, no upfront costs to me other than taxes and fees, at 729/mth. Working back from that their price to me has to be 63,177 before applying the 4K in incentives to arrive at the lease cap cost of 59,177 to get that payment.

Re-ran the TMV on that car setup and got 63,042 so that pretty much seems to answer my question, the TMV should be BEFORE the incentives to me.

Upfront payment was told was taxes, first month and fees.  Is 591 a month a deal or should I keep pressing other dealers?  

Your numbers would imply a payment of $561/mo.

Which is why you should get an itemized breakdown of the $3616.
And, ask for the adjusted CAP cost.

There is a difference of about $1000 between the numbers you've provided, and the payment quoted. It's very possible that the $3616 doesn't cover all taxes and fees, and something else is rolled into the CAP cost.

In either case, it looks like a pretty good deal.

Hello, I ordered a 2019 BMW M550 late February for 36/12K and the numbers at that time for zip code 60540 were the following:
RV: 59%, MF: 0.00188, Lease credit: $1,500,
Loyalty: $2000. 

The car is sitting at the port and should be delivered by the end of the week. I will be signing off on all final paper work.

I wanted to know if any numbers or incentives have changed that would help lower the cost?
