Thanks! I didn’t think so either . No explanation as to why they started over the base rate on the MF.

I am shopping in NJ, but I'm an NYC resident so NYC taxes. The upfront is supposed to be taxes and inception fees only. What doesn't add up to me is the monthly payment and upfront amount in regard to the sales price, as well as the "cap reduction" because I'm not giving any $down.

The CAP reduction is coming from the $2000 rebate.
The $5230 upfront isn't quite covering all of the taxes, fees and first payment. Which is why the CAP reduction from the rebate isn't the full $2000 amount of the rebate.

The sale price reflects an approx. $8400 discount from MSRP

I had a question around BMWs corporate sales program. My company is a member of this program and offers incentives across various vehicle lines. For example, this month the 5 series has an "up to $3,000" incentive for a FS Lease/Owners Choice. The fine print around the program is a little hazy. Does anyone know if the incentives offered are applied to the agreed upon final sales price of the vehicle or if they are discounts against the original MSRP (which I assume would be almost useless if you can negotiate the cars value below that). Thanks!

I'm not very familiar, but it should be an additional incentive.

But, it's possible that it isn't compatible with the lease credit and/or loyalty. (and, that's the part I don't know).
In general, it seems that most reports we get, are that the corporate incentive turns out to be worth a fraction of the original amount, once all is said and done.

That's about $1650 less on the selling price.
$3650 discount = 6% off MSRP.

You might have another $500-$1000 left.. Getting closer to the bottom line,though.

I'd bet the MF is marked up, despite their claims.

Or, a junk fee has been slipped in.

Get the adjusted cap cost they used for their quote, and have them explain how they got to that number from the selling price.
