I am due for 1st year/10000 miles maintenance. My question is do I have to go to a MB dealer for maintenance or I can use my preferred mechanic? The least contract only mentions the requirement of authentic MB parts but nothing else.

You can use an independent, but you'll need proof of the maintenance, in case you have a related failure, under warranty.

2. Regarding pre-paid maintenance plan: how does this impact pricing? the upfront cost is added to the selling price and then RV increases by 1%?
3. Regarding MSDs: how much does each MSD lower the MF?

1) The $1500 is a Mercedes-to-dealer incentive, and will be included in any price quoted.
2) The upfront is added to the selling price. We've seen dealers that were able to add that amount to the MSRP, effectively residualizing it. But, it doesn't seem to happen for everyone. There is no 1% bump.
3) Up to 10 MSDs at .00007 ea. reduction (total reduction of .00070)
