If I roll/capitalize my sales tax do I still apply sales tax to the monthly depreciation and finance charges that I am calculating and paying over the term of the lease ?

I'm not that up on NY sales tax.

But, it seems they tax the total payments (calculate your lease payment, multiply by 36, add any upfront CAP cost reductions, and apply the tax rate to that total).

In NY, you can actually pay a little more tax, by rolling in your taxes. That doesn't seem fair, but seems to be true.

From my experience w/ an ML, GLE, and now a GLS on order, I would say must haves are the LED lights, MB-Tex dash, heated steering wheel, upgraded sound system, premium pkg, and multimedia pkg. I would ad the AMG line and pano roof if it were my order.

The rv seems little high for 2019 GLS450. I leased my current gl450 on 12/2015 and the rv is around 57%. My current lease has two more months to go. Do you think the rv will be higher towards the end of Dec? I am running out the mileage allowance now.

If they are offering you .00201 (and, you have top tier credit), they are marking up the rate for extra profit.

The $6463 includes the items listed and the first payment?
Or, maybe everything except the $890 AFTM?

Is that aftermarket items? For what?

I can't get it to match up exactly, but the payment calculation looks pretty close.
The acquisition fee is marked up from $795.

The lease program isn't great on this model (low residual), so it won't ever look cheap.
To get a lower payment, you need a lower selling price.

Per my understanding from the sales rep, the 6463 already includes the items listed but I am not sure about the AFTM. I build the vehicle on mbusa and the dealership supposedly ordered it from the factory. Only thing I can think of is the rear entertainment system?

I’ll try to negotiate a better sales price or go to another dealership. Thank you!

Adding dealer installed options isn't optimal for lower lease payments. In most cases, you are paying for that option 100%, rather than just the depreciated portion.
