Hello, I’ve been shopping for one of the remaining 2019 Q5’s in dealer inventory in AZ. After much back and forth I have the following deal on the table, $53,460 MSRP, sell price of $42,100 (21.2% discount), $750 lease cash, 39/10 lease, MF .00045, monthly of $494/mo including 8.1% tax. $2k due at signing, which is not quite covering fees and taxes.

This is the best I’ve been able to do on a NEW (not service loaner) Q5.

Dealer has $399 tint on the car which I don’t want and demands a $499 doc fee, but with the level of discount I guess I don’t care.

Thoughts?

As for the residual, what they showed me on the screen when running numbers was exactly 50%. BUT that was before I requested the change from 39 to 36 months. I did not see if the residual %age updated from 50% or not, so I guess I could be wrong on that. If I go back, I will make sure to ask about whether the residual should be higher than 50%.

If the residual is 50%, what do you think of this deal? How about at 52%?
