    Hi,

    I have a quick, perhaps unrelated question for the forum in general.

    I'm due to pick up my 2021 X5 40i at the end of this week. I'm leasing it...3 years/10,000 miles per year.

    The salesman called to ask me if I would be interested in purchasing the Ultimate Care+ Maintenance Plan. As part of the car's warranty, the basic Ultimate Care Plan for the 3 yrs fully covers regularly scheduled things like oil changes, fluids, filters, etc.

    The Ultimate Care+ Plan covers all of that plus brakes, wipers and clutch. It will cost about an additional $20 per month for the 3 years.

    Does anyone have an opinion about this? A previous BMW X5 I leased back in 2015 included all of this in their 4yr/50,000 basic warranty which, at the time, included ALL maintenance. Things seemed to have changed a few years ago and I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these newer programs.
