Back to my deal, the "Screenshot" I provided.. Is this actually a special or is this basic math, standard for lease. I am trying to figure out what the purpose of the down payments, etc... I get the same number without putting money down right? Where is the "DEAL" I guess I am asking... . Are they just being more generous/flexible off the top? or is the special the MF and the residuals? Looking at Michaell's last post those numbers look the same as what I was quoting (Although that was 36 mo/15K). Are North Carolina Region Numbers going to be different after the 4th (Their "December to Remember" event....)
Seems like I should be able to do the same thing a month or 3 from now.

The new programs will be released tomorrow. Can't tell you if they'll be better or worse than last month.
So what makes the deal/program? Do they just adjust residuals and MF?? Those are really the two pieces that the math works with... MSRP is what it is. Sell price is what's negotiated. MSDs are MSDs...guess I'll wait and see
Those are pretty good numbers still. Almost the same as the last deals. MF is a little different along with residuals, but nothing crazy.
I too too would be interested in seeing the 10k and 7500 mileage numbers for NC.
Gotta figure out where that lease cash goes in the equation. I read in the Lexus forums where someone took a rebate/incentive and applied it to the multiple MSDs reducing his overhead and MF while still getting a big return at the end. Clever!

For 10K or 7.5K numbers, add 3%/4% to the 15K/yr residual
If what I am reading..Those figures are not "better." A .0009 (2.2%) is a HIGHER interest rate than the .0007 (1.7%). So makes sense that the higher interest rate would be on the more expensive car.. They make more mula!
Let me clarify my statement. According to the last few entries of the thread I read it as, IS 300 Ftype MF @ .0007 (1.68%) and the IS 300 @ .0009 (2.16%). So for a better equiped car they're charging you less money, on the money.
I thought the MF would be the same for the model of car, i.e. IS 300 vs IS 300 Ftype, would be the same as.
The .0007 I saw was from an ask in the NY region.. the .0009 I was not sure what region @kyfdx said that was from... Maybe he or @Michaell could get you the exact numbers for your region for the two to be sure what was said in the thread is accurate.
@Michaell Can you check this lease deal for me? 2016 is300 F sport MSRP 47,845 10k per year 3,400 trade ACV as down payment. TOTAL out of pocket 349.20 Per month
With a residual of 66 and money factor of .00070 im getting a payment of 319 including 8.625 NY Tax
He is claiming his selling price is 42,395 but I believe he is throwing fees in. Also the money factor is .00075 instead of .00070.
The payment is much lower than ive been offered from other dealers and this car is more expensive. I believe this is a good deal BUT could be better.

I too get $349.20/mo with those numbers. MF is shown as .00075; lowering it to .00070 changes the payment to $345.51.
Thanks for all the help guys. Looking to pull the trigger after much back and forth. Just wanted to confirm the MF and residual/monthly pricing for:
36 mos/10k or 7.5k 2016 IS350 AWD F-type
MSRP: $50,278 Sale Price: $45,250 Dealer Doc Fee: $495 Sales Tax: 6.25% Reg/Tags state MA: $?
Been working via email on sales price and now begins the dance for leasing terms etc. I believe the MF is .001 for IS350 for January, with $1000 lease cash. What are the max MSDs allowed for Lexus and they reduce by .0001 each payment?

.00100 and 65% for 36/10. Add 1% for 7500 miles.
I believe Lexus allows 9 MSDs, each of which lower the MF by .00008.
Looking at a 2016 IS 200t F-Sport 36 month/10K per year lease. MSRP is $43,133 and selling price is $37,997. Local sales tax rate (California) is 8%. The dealer has confirmed a 66% residual and .00090 money factor, but is quoting $375 a month with $730 due at signing (first month's payment, license/registration, and $80 doc fee). I'm coming up with $350 per month using those numbers. Does it seem correct? Is there something else I should know about?

I, too, get $350/mo. Where is the bank fee? It may be added to the selling price. Get the net cap cost from the dealer and find out what's been added to the selling price to get to that number.

I agree. The $700 acquisition fee would just about do it.
Would like your input to see if this is a good deal or not.
2016 IS300 AWD FSPORT (VA)
MSRP: $46,694
36 months lease for 10k miles per year.
$2000 down for $450 per month
I'm leasing a CT200 right now that ends in June so they are letting me end my lease early and waiving the deposition fee.
Just wondering if I'm able to get either $0 down for 450 per month or even $1k down for $450 per month if you guys thought that would be a great deal or a what.

We would need to know the net cap cost to figure out the payment, as well as the breakdown of the $2000 due at signing.
36/10 lease numbers for the 2016 IS300 AWD are 66% and .00090

I think you're right. He was referring to the previously negotiated selling price as the cap cost, but the bank fee never appeared anywhere otherwise.

I'm new to this. I am looking to lease a 2016 IS 200T F Sport with a premium package, MSRP of $43,423 in north TX. We are wanting 36 months at 12k/year as the dealer said there were incentives if we did not go past 36 months. He is quoting something just short of $500/mo, with first months payment of $600+ including all the various fees.

And the net cap cost?
Texas taxes the entire selling price, which makes leasing there more expensive than in other states.

I dont know the answer to that. I should, but as I said, I am new to this form of financing, and dont understand all the ins and outs. I can see if all the sales tax is dumped into the cost up front, that would add quite a lot to the monthly payment.

Correct .. get the dealer to provide you with all the numbers. Calculating a lease isn't much different that calculating a loan amount. Math isn't any more difficult, but dealers will want you to think it's like trigonometry.

I thought the MF would be the same for the model of car, i.e. IS 300 vs IS 300 Ftype, would be the same as.
IS200 - .00090
IS300 - .00070 (up to 36 months); .00090 (37-48 months)
IS350 - .00100
So, the engine type matters. And, for the IS300, the length of the lease matters as well.
Trim types (base vs. F-Sport) or individual packages or options do not affect the numbers.
