2017 GMC Acadia Lease Questions

Can I have the residual and money factor for a 36/12000 lease for SLT1 and SLT2 in Northwest Indiana? My (former) salesman quoted me a residual of 58% and an 'interest rate' of 2.26%, which works out to be MF of .00188. Total lease for a 45,000 vehicle would be lease payment of $649 after adding tax. Seems crazy.

2.26% is .00094 (you divide the APR by 2400).

The GM Financial numbers I have show .00092 and 64% (SLT1) or 63% (SLT2)

What is the selling price? That payment does look a bit high....

Thanks for the verification on the money factor. I'll use that in my spreadsheet now. The vehicle was right around 45,000.
They gave me $618.28 for the payment for a 39/12000 lease (he keeps pushing the 39 month lease before tax with a residual of 58%.
The payments that he quoted make no sense. if I change the money factor to .00094 with 58% residual I get $550.03 before tax.
If I change the residual to 63% it drops the payment to $494.41 before tax. I can't figure out where the extra $125 is coming from.
List $45000
Residual $28,350 (list * .63)
Monthly $426.92 (List - residual / 39)
Money factor $67.48 (List + residual * .00094)
Monthly $494.41

Am I calculating something wrong?

Is $45K the MSRP or selling price? The residual is calculated against the MSRP.

We need both prices to calculate the payment.

Oh, you should absolutely be negotiating a discount from sticker. These aren't that rare.

Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools - your goal is to beat the TMV price for your area.

Hmmm. Using 63% and .00094 for 36 months, I get $531.45/mo plus tax.

I just got a 36/12k lease for a 2017 Acadia Denali FWD, dealer list price $50,105, for $466/mo. (incl. NC sales tax) with no money down except first month's payment. Got a 2k conquest lease incentive plus negotiated a sizable dealer discount.

Am I right in feeling that this is a really good deal or did I leave some money on the table?

Hi. I was just quoted for a 2017 Acadia SLE 2 36/12 $399.00 a month and want to see if this seems correct to you. I am on Long Island and am paying the sales tax at 8.625% up front. The MSRP is $42300 and the cap cost is $40259 with a conquest rebate that I am not sure of the amount. Does this sound right? Thank you.

If $40,259 is the adjusted CAP cost, I get $439/mo.
Must be some pretty decent rebates.

Our numbers are from GM Financial, yes.

If they mark up the MF on you, be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is inflated. They know the base rates.

I'm about to do a 24/15 lease on a Acadia Denali in MI. The only option I'm on the fence about is the chassis continuously variable damping system. In your opinion is the chassis continuously variable damping system worth an extra $40/mo in lease payments?

Yesterday I asked about a lease for a 2017 Acadia SLE2 but I am actually now getting an SLT MSRP $44,665 not sure of cap but below invoice w/$1500 incentive and educator discount (not sure how much this is) paying up front NY sales tax 8.625% 36/12 lease payment just under $420 a month. Does this sound like a good deal? Thank you.

The lease numbers are the same for the two trims.

Yes, residual is always a percentage of full MSRP.
However, those huge discounts may not be compatible with the lease program.

What is the full breakdown of the $3500? That looks high for the items you've listed.
