Any changes for October MF rates? Hoping it will come back down to .0006 or so, was surprised to see the Sept increase given all the remaining '17s in inventory with '18s coming just around the corner...
Specifically looking at 36mo/10k for a '17 SE 6mt in Seattle, WA. Thanks!

Looking into a 2017 GTI S DSG in MA. MSRP: $27,835 Dealer Advertised Discount: $5,833 Asking: $22,002 Lease would be 36/10k. I think I know the MF and Resdual 0.00110 and 55%, simple stupid math get me about $331/month before taxes, fees, etc. With a lower MF it could be closer to $310. VW is advertising 0% APR on 60 month purchases. Would I be able to argue for a MF close to that rate or am I just dreaming?

Lease terms and finance terms are not related to each other.
.00110 is the best MF you can get.
If you plan to keep it past the lease term, better to buy it with free money.
Looking for a Golf Gti SE with DSG in LA and every dealer is pitching me payment above $400 10k lease with an absurd amount of money diem. Is this joke ? I was hoping around $330... Since my Wife's Bmw $12k more of car is only $360 a month. Why do Gti's R's lease So horribly?

Do people generally only lease these cars rather than purchase? I don't see any Price Paid threads in the VW forum.
When we moved to our current forum software, most of the "Prices Paid" threads died out from neglect. Feel free to post your questions, but be advised that we moderators don't track pricing; you'll have to rely upon the kindness of other posters to help you.
And, you may want to read back through the last few pages to see if there are any prices posted.
This is my first time leasing a car in the US, so I am looking for some guidance. I am looking for a 36/12k lease of a 2017 white GTI Sport in Kirkland, WA, but the offers I get seem high to me. Not sure if my expectations are wrong, or if I'm simply given bad offers. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, so please excuse me if it's not.
One place offered $392+tax with $750 down for license and doc fees. Is that a reasonable number?
Another place gave me 3 choices: - $1,000 down + $420.72/month, - $2,000 down + $397.01/month and - $3,000 down + $366.22/month. All of these leases include taxes. Selling price $25,976. RV $16,043, MF 0.0021 and $1200 lease cash. Both the MF and selling price seem high to me as I've read a bunch of people mentioning prices under $24k (might be for financing or buying though).
If these offers aren't good, what should I be aiming for with a minimal amount upfront? Any advice is appreciated!

.00110 and 53%; $1200 lease cash
The MF you are being quoted is quite high. Could be dealer greed, but could also be a lack of credit history that hurts you in the US.
We need to know the MSRP in order to calculate the payment.
The great prices you see could be for financing or purchase; we don’t track pricing – use the “make / model / year” tabs at the top of the page to link to the Edmunds price tools.

Sorry, should be a normal DSG Sport, so MSRP should be $30,270. If my understanding is correct, only the MF and selling price are negotiable (plus some fees maybe?). Then getting a good deal comes down to getting the .00110 MF and a good selling price. Is $25,976 good?

We don't track pricing, but if you can get over $4000 off MSRP and the base money factor, that would be a good deal.
Sorry for discussing the price further, just want to make sure I understand correctly - given an MSRP of $30,270, anything over $4k off is good before the $1200 lease cash or with that included? In other words does the $4k include the $1200 or should the $1200 be applied after for a total reduction of $5200 below MSRP? Thank you, I appreciate the patience and help!

Lease cash is a dealer incentive.

Hello - would you mind sharing the MF and RV for a GTI Sports in Texas 36 months 15k miles please? Also any extra incentive or change expected in December?

He is not willing to change the money factor with the same discount and when I tried to get him to make the selling price at 25k and then give me a base money factor, he said he just cant do it.

My my local dealer is doing 6k off 2017s and if I could get 1200 more that would be killer.
VW purchase quotes generally aren't good with the lease program.
