I'm deciding between a 2018 Audi A4 Ultra Premium Plus (thanks for your numbers on that) and a 2017 Giulia AWD with cold weather package, sport appearance package and 8.8 inch screen/Radio. MSRP is 43440. Price offered is 39440. Dealer is offering $1100 due at close (first month plus license/title/tax) for state of TN. 50% residual and what looks like 0.000167 MF. TN sales tax is 7% so monthly. including tax for 36/10 is $554.
From your info above, the MF seems marked up a little, bit otherwise seems in line.
In your opinion, does this look like a good deal? My real concern is price/cap cost given that it's a 2017 and the 2018s are fully under way with many available. It's almost 10 10% off MSRP, but given that it has been on the lot for a while and doesn't have some desirable things like Sirius/XM or sunroof (like the Audi), does this price (and MF) seem good to you?

@markm615 for a 17 that’s been sitting on the lot, I would start at 20% off MSRP and not budge much from that percentage. A 18 can easily be had for 10% off MSRP.

Money factors only go out to five digits, generally... I'd verify the actual money factor used.

Those are the correct money factors.
61%/51% residual for 24/36 months. (correct also)

Those appear to be after-tax numbers.
The 24 month numbers seem to be better, because you are putting so much money upfront.
If you only put $2000 upfront, the 36 month lease would be $18/mo. less than 24 months.

Approximate payment with $2000 due at signing:
24/10: $528/mo. (including tax)
36/10: $510/mo. (including tax)

Pretty good deal, either way... No point in putting $5000 upfront on a lease, though.

Thanks, based on this, the dealer still overcharging me around $25 a month, which makes me think they are not very interested in moving cars. Do they get paid by Chrysler regardless whether they sell cars, plus have free return policy if they don't sell? They still have twelve 2017 models, which have been on the lot for almost 2 years.

SouthWest Florida if that makes any difference.
Also just found out it is a 'sport' model, all I got so far is MSRP of $45,640 $499 month $0 down.
Working with a new salesman and its not on their lot so haven't inquired too heavily yet until I have a better idea of where I should be looking to be. Wife has a couple of absolutes and they didn't have what she was looking for when we were on lot yesterday.
May wait and get an '18, but MF seems high.

thanks, I've just plugged that into a spreadsheet and I have a dealer giving me $499 mo $0 down on a sport with an MSRP of $45,640 for 24/12, not sure I can beat them up on that - there is incentives of $3250 so he seems to be coming off retail by about $4,400, unless he is not capitalizing acquisition fee. If numbers hold true I could do a 36/12 for about $15 less.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost - there are some pretty hefty dealer fees in FL. And, would be good to know what's been capped and what you're expected to pay up front.
