Hi there! I am curious about the Discovery HSE with the Diesel engine in Southern California. I am interested in about a 36 month lease, but perhaps the sweet spot for Land Rover is 39? And from your previous comments I guess 10K miles is sweet spot.....but I really would expect to lease for 12K. Can you provide the various options? Does Land Rover have a MSD program? Thanks!

Reason I ask is I can't get it to match what RR quotes as lease rates on thier own site, they are coming in lower.

Looking at Discovery HSE (gas) with sticker of $71,986 in So California with a 36/10 or 39/10 lease. Can you please confirm MF and residual?

When I run the numbers with the following at 36/10 from info above, I get $1000 per month including tax (92024):
Sticker: $71,986
Title/Reg/Other: $1500 (estimate)
Incentive: $1000
Cap reduction: $2400
MF: 0.0022
Residual: 62% or $44,640

With the above scenario, would I expect 1st month + the cap reduction (or around $3400). Would it be higher/lower? Thanks so much!

Hello,

For the 2018 HSE Discovery (gas), are the MF/ residuals the same for all states? (Sorry I've never tried calculating a lease before).

I see above that the CA numbers for March are .00235 and 64% (36months/10k).
I'm in NJ, i'd appreciate the numbers if there is a difference.

Also regarding the car i'm looking at, an MSRP of 66,800, the taxes and fees alone come to around $4500, is this normal for the car? I pointed out what the salesperson explained was a ~$400 fee for vin etching, and ~$800 for windshield frost, some sort of windshield protection. Are these even necessary?

The numbers are national.
The vin etching, etc.. are all garbage items.

Tax will depend on the payment, but should be in the low $2000s, in any case
DMV is about $400 in NJ
Dealer fees are in the $300-$500 range in NJ, typically, but with a Land Rover dealer, any amount is possible.
The only fee that is lease specific is the acquisition fee, which is $795
