Is it EXL with NAV? Or, Touring?
Its Touring 2.0 w/nav
.00110 MF and 55% residual
That's a big payment, but that's the most expensive Accord.
Which trim would lease better? Sport 2.0t or Touring 1.5t? Sport 2.0t is about $3k cheaper than the Touring 1.5t. From my area 22030, we have plenty Touring 1.5t but very very few Sport 2.0t so that could play a factor.

Sport also has a better RV and MF.
what do you think?
It depends on what equipment you require.
If you are happy with the Sport, that's definitely the way I would go.
Hi, if i get a quote for accord lx for 270 and only first payment due at pickup, and if i change my mind and want to get the accord ex which is about 4000 more. How much do i add for every 1000 to a 36 month lease price. Thanks. i am asking for every 1000 in case i decide on the sport which is lease and can just do the manual calculations.

You add about $30 a month per every one thousand.
That only works for the same lease deal, on the same vehicle. Each $1000 higher price adds about $30/mo.
That's not an effective cheat for cars with different MSRPs. If a $30K MSRP vehicle is $300/mo, then a $34K MSRP vehicle would be approx $340/mo, all else being equal.

The LX and Sport have the same residual, but the residual on the EX is 1% lower, so it's hard to do an apples-to-apples comparison.
Also, if you only have first payment due upfront, you are rolling fixed costs into the lease, that are the same for each car, regardless of MSRP (dealer fees, acquisition fee, DMV fees), so those don't increase at the same rate as the depreciation and finance charges.
But roughly.. take your $270/mo, and divide by the MSRP in thousands. Example: if LX has MSRP of $25K, divide 270 by 25, and your cost per thousand of MSRP is $10.80 per thousand.
So, if EX is $29K MSRP, $10.80 X 29 = $313.20.
The EX has a lower residual, so that may effect the payment negatively by $7-$8 per month. But, fixed costs don't go up with the higher MSRP, so you may save a little bit there ($3-$4) month.
All of this assumes that the percentage discount from MSRP on the LX is the same as the EX. And, it may depend on how your state taxes leases.
In other words, the lease payment should be roughly proportional to the MSRP on the two vehicles.
MSRP on LX is 23,570 with destination is 24,465, when you talk about MSRP do you mean including destination and handling cost?
Yes... MSRP including destination.
The bottom line on the official sticker.
$270 / 24.465 = $11.04 per thousand/MSRP
IF the EX MSRP is $28,465, then $11.04 X 28.465 = $314/mo. (roughly)
Of course, use whatever MSRP is accurate... I just added $4K.
That will give you an idea if they are being upfront about pricing, and not trying to take advantage of you, when you switch to another model. As noted earlier, it could vary by $4-$5 per month.
Can someone help me understand what is going on in this quote? I am putting down 2500 in cash plus I am trading in my old crappy car for which they said they are giving me 1100. I guess they are applying some of that trade in as cap cost reduction (782)? I cant get close to their numbers.
I have 26675 as msrp and a 23744 selling price. I am capitalizing NYC taxes at 8.875% but I keep coming out with taxes higher than the amounts they are showing.
So I get 23744 selling price less cap reductions of 2500+782. For NYC, I am yielding cap tax of 796. I calculate monthly of 186.93 with 3512 due at singing (1050 fees plus 93 tax on all fees (assuming they are all taxed), 2500 down payment, plus first month of 186 less 318 from only partial amount of trade in used as cap reduction).
So perhaps they are capitalizing some of the fees as well? But again, the cap tax would be even higher.

The document shows $2966 upfront from you, not $2500. Plus the $1100 for trade. That's $4066 total working cash. The $380 aftermarkets and $595 acquisition fee have been added to the sale price, resulting in a Gross CAP of $24,719. Kind of a misnomer, because tax is then added, for a true Gross CAP of $25,393. Minus CAP reduction of $3283 gives adjusted CAP of $22109.
The only thing that isn't clear, is the upfronts. $211.49 payment +$570.73 upfront charges. I don't know what the $570 includes, other than the $75 doc fee. It's possible it is more tax on the CAP reduction, but that would only be about $270. There is another screen we aren't seeing.
But, $4066 minus $211, minus $570 results in the CAP reduction number.
