It does not sound like there are any incentives this month?

Yeah, my thought being either a) BMW eating into margin on their exports or b) shifting to more US focused buyers on their current export production, maybe increasing incentives?

All those macro-economic issues might make a difference over time... but, they are still selling US made cars to US dealers to US consumers. And, it's a popular car that they don't have any trouble moving. Why cut your margins on a car that people are willing to pay for?

I'd be more worried if I worked at the BMW plant in SC, and didn't have much seniority.

What additional deal are they giving if you’re turning in another BMW lease and staying with BMW? Is it still $1500 loyalty incentive? Is this in addition to waiving disposition, etc? What % off MSRP are people negotiating?

Yes.. if you lease another car through BMWFS, they will waive the disposition fee on your current lease

One thing is the 2019 has sDrives while the 2018 doesn't, so the price may be cheaper.

I've been getting online quotes from dealer in the 60607 area. MSRP 55,345 and best quote so far is 11% off MSRP (including incentives). Do you think I can get more when I go in person? I assume usually internet quote starting point has more room to come down.

Nothing wrong with that deal.
Big discount, base money factor, no garbage fees.

I'd roll the acquisition fee into the lease, and take the higher payment, but other than that, it's all good.

the best quote i got so far for a 2019 built is 15.5% off MSRP including incentives, etc. Some other dealers are telling me this particular dealer is doing a bait & switch since when my car is delivered a month from now, the price would be different. Is this accurate? any thoughts? thanks.

I plan to lease a 2019 X3 for 36/10. Please list the items I should request the dealer be included or not included in the "cash due at delivery" payment? My goal is to create a lease that is financially advantageous to me without regard to the size of my monthly payments.

I'm out here in 60601 - did I do this math right, and is this a good deal? I used the Edmunds hand calculation methodology.

State tax in Illinois isn't collected on each lease payment.
It's calculated on the sum of the lease payments, but collected upfront.
So, you have to calculate it on the $721.07 amount X 36, then add that amount to the Adjusted CAP and recalculate. It will change the result slightly.

Also, it makes sense to pull out your non-taxable fees (DMV), and pay them upfront. If you roll them into the CAP cost, you are paying 18.5% tax on them.

My sheet from the dealer has me paying $412 in fees at signing, which is the sum of all of those doc, license, etc. fees.

It does not state that I'll be paying all of the IL State Tax at once - in theory, that would come in the Amount Due at Signing section. Is that an oversight on the dealer's part, or is the assumption that they're paying it up front and charging me interest on it?
