    @MaryBob Your calculations are correct.
10% off on a new 2019 is pretty aggressive.
Let us know how it goes.

Completely different things. Tell them you want max msd's and your payment will go down. You'll get the money back when your lease is up

I just spoke with the sales and he said that "BMW multiple security deposits can only be transferred from current BMW leases to new BMW leases. BMW recently changed their MSD rules". Hence, no luck for me in this department as I do not currently lease a BMW model.

Thank you so much for your awesome tip! I am definitely challenging my sales here.
From what we've heard, the BMW MSD program is now regional. It's possible that it isn't available in CA.
    Just a heads up.

  • Hello, can I get the MF, Residuals, and Incentives for a 540i xDrive in 46637 for 36 months at 15K per year in September and October if they are available?

An update, it turns out 11% off of MSRP is the deal!

Then one dealership advised to get a 2018 (for HOA sticker) for a lower payment so now I am working on math for 2018 and will push the discount > 11%. I will be posting my progress on the 2018 thread.

Thank you all very much for providing customized feedback and support. I learned so much from reading everyone's story and feel a lot more confident than facing this daunting task initially.

    $80 Weight Fees (Whats this?)
    $661 Reg Fees
    $30 e-filing
    $22 County Fees

    $1500 down, $897/month 10/36

Yep, CA taxes the monthly payment on a lease.
No reference to the $925 acquisition fee.

Must be an AutoNation dealer, yes?

    .00182 and 61%
    No lease incentives

Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is for their payment quote, and how they got there from the selling price.
Also, get a breakdown of the $1500 due at signing.

It took a lot of negotiating and getting dealers to out do each other.. was absolutely exhausting- probably spent 40 hours and had to do a lot of traveling working with different dealers. Was much harder to get a deal than my wife’s BMW I negotiated at the end of August. Helps that there are 25+ dealers within my area and that I qualify for USAA, college, BMW CCA, and had an OL code that the dealer gave me the full $1000 rebate on.
  • Can I get November rates and rebates for 2019 540 in NJ - 36 month / 15k miles thanks!
  • Guys what do you think of this deal?
    540i xdrive 2019 36/10
    $74,360
    discount to $65559
    res:45359
With max msd: $725 per month.

Under inception fees they didn't disclose those but I know their doc fee was $499 from a previous email. If theres nothing else fishy under inception fees apart from doc fee this is a pretty good deal right?

Residual is always a percentage of MSRP. That's the end value of the vehicle. It doesn't mean you aren't getting a discount.

    $80 Doc Fees
    $80 Weight Fees (Whats this?)
    $661 Reg Fees
    $30 e-filing
    $22 County Fees
    $20 Smog Abatement

    $1500 down, $897/month 10/36

    Appreciate feedback

Yep, CA taxes the monthly payment on a lease.
No reference to the $925 acquisition fee.

Must be an AutoNation dealer, yes?

    .00182 and 61%
    No lease incentives

Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is for their payment quote, and how they got there from the selling price.
Also, get a breakdown of the $1500 due at signing.
The residual is 39,951, working backwards they are calculating based on MSRP, essentially no incentives. Not a good deal in my opinion.
Residual is always a percentage of MSRP. That's the end value of the vehicle. It doesn't mean you aren't getting a discount.
I am a noob to leasing, I always tend to buy and keep my cars long. So how does the MSRP discount factor into leasing. Discount Price - Residual, gives you the finance cost? Then multiplied by MF gives you the cost to lease?

I am getting a good Sales Price but a bad MF (.0022), and 2.89% interest on 60mo loan. Looking for recommendations on which way to go.

Current numbers are 62,270 MSRP, 53,490 SP, 3500 down, 608/month

    Thanks

If you keep your vehicles a long time, you shouldn't be leasing.
    2.89% is a good rate for 60 months on a 2019 model

    530e
    $65,495.00 MSRP
$59,985 after Dealer incentives and loyalty Rebates
$5743.79 Sales Tax (Shouldn't apply if leasing?)

    Thanks

Primary reason for leasing the 530e is that they are probably going to increase the pure electric range and this one will become obsolete. The advantage over a pure electric is that atleast the car will keep running even if the battery doesn't hold much charge

I will be coming off a BMW lease with 7 x MSD. For a new 3 year lease on a 2019 540i, 12k miles, what is the max MSD allowed? What's the rate reduction on it? What's the lowest MF I could get? Are there any current OL discounts codes for San Francisco Bay Area? Thanks!
