Hi,

Could please let me know the RV, MF, and incentives for zip 07920 for 2018 Q5 Premium Plus and 36/12 and 36/15.
Also I'm looking at a demo with under 5k, cant find MSRP but their posted "sale price" is $41,653.
How much off MSRP before incentives would beca good starting point since it's a demo and last day off month? 17% unreasonable?

I searched MSRP and range is 55k to 57k, contacting dealer now. Wondering if payments below $500/mo could be achieved, depends how much they want to discount/how long it's been on lot, etc. No harm in asking.

If we assume the MSRP is $56K, and the sell price is the adjusted cap cost, then I calculate a payment of $459/mo. That assumes all taxes and fees are paid up front.

And, assumes the "sale price" is valid for a lease.

Lots of assumptions to get you under that $500/mo threshold.

We leased a 2018 Q5 on Dec 31, 2018 w/ 12K miles/year in zipcode 77090. We have unexpected travel between DFW to Houston for cancer treatment every other week so mileage is creeping up (we have ~5.9K miles right now). Is there any way to amend the lease to add additional mileage now as 36K for 3 years isn't going to be enough? If so, about how much should I expect my monthly lease payment to go up? And how many miles/year can we get as I know there is 15K/year, but are there other amounts greater than this? Thank you for your time and assistance.

You should call AFS. But, generally, you can't change a lease contract, once it's written. They may have a program where you can buy extra miles, now, instead of at lease end, and for a lower rate.

If not, you might consider renting a car occasionally, for your trips to Houston.

Thank you for your feedback. I called AFS and you are correct, no adjustments to original signed lease. Options are: 1) to purchase the car, 2) to purchase additional miles only offered at the halfway mark (so in a 36 month lease the promotion would be available at 18 months), or 3) early termination of lease. We are going with option 2 as it’s definitely cheaper in the long run than renting a car (basing this from our rental experience last trip). I’m so grateful that they have option 2 available, and the best news is that the additional miles purchased can get paid over the remaining 18 months and not up front.
