    No such vehicle...... 2.4 is not available with the SH-AWD system. There is a 2.4 A-Spec that does not have AWD, or a 3.5 V6 A-Spec with or without SH-AWD.

    Hi, new to leasing and am looking for some help. 2019 TLX 3.5 FWD A-Spec for 36/7.5K.

    MSRP: $43,795
    + $1,100 protection (will try to take out)
    Sale price: $34,267
    Tax: $1,200
    Tag/title: $150
    Other fees: $600

    Quoted payment: $475/mo with $2K down.

    30328 zip. Seems high to me based on the other responses here. Not sure where the payment is being bumped up. Should not be any credit issues. What do you think?

    I'm within a few dollars of those numbers given the parameters you've laid out. Given this month's incentives, it's not a very large actual discount from MSRP, and that's likely where you're losing ground. Can you confirm what the $2k out of pocket is for? I suspect you're in a state where tax is levied on the lease amount up front. In essence, it's not the payment that's being bumped up, it's the discount from MSRP not being bumped down enough----time to try shopping around.

    Thanks for the response. The $2K is just a down payment towards the total lease price. The current quote has options to increase it in order to slightly reduce the monthly payment rate. This is GA so the tax is based on the lease price, but I don't think it's due up front.

    I'd suggest asking them to run the quote without the out of pocket capital cost reduction. All that's doing is concealing the true price of their quote. I'd imagine you can get close to the same deal without that out of pocket money from poking around on here and a few other resources. One of the reasons it's usually not advisable to make that down payment amount is that if the unfortunate happens and your car is totaled or stolen, you're going to be out that money. Shop around and get some dealers to bid against each other and see where that leads you.

    GA taxes the sum of the payments, and collects it up front. You can (and should) roll it into the cap cost and make it part of the monthly payment.

    I currently have a 2016 TLX 2.4 w/Tech on Lease. I am over mileage limit by quite a bit (16K). Does it make sense to lease with a higher mileage limit or just buy? I'm also considering a a V6 or SH-AWD.

    Can I have the numbers for the configs below in 15601? Since the 2020 was just released, I would assume there are now better deals for 2019 stock.

    2019 TLX 2.4L w/Tech
    2019 TLX 3.5L FWD w/Tech
    2019 TLX 3.5L SH-AWD w/Tech

    Does A-Spec change the rates at all, or is it simply considered an option?

    If you are driving 20,000 miles a year, you should inquire about purchasing those extra miles up front on your next lease. Better to make those miles a part of your monthly payment rather than write a big check at lease end.

    I shopped around a bit and think I've got a better deal from a different dealer. Note the new quote is an AWD with the higher MSRP. Thoughts?

    Nothing firm at the moment, however last week I was offered this by a dealer in Missouri. It was not particularly attractive as, absent the manufacturer incentives, there is no actual discount on a long-in-the-tooth design that isn't selling well.

    TLX SH-AWD Advance
    Base MSRP: $46,945
    Their MSRP Including dealer installed accessories and bogus "paint protection package": $47,853
    $199 Admin fee
    Offered selling price: $39,951

    I haven't gone any further yet given the paltry discount, and probably wouldn't until I exhaust some other options, or they magically come back with a selling price closer to $36k on that particular unit. Hopefully this is some market data that someone can use at least.

    I wouldn't hold my breath. Acura changed their formulas for April to use the standard MF but bumped up the lease incentives.
