42,000 MSRP my first offer was 34,500, they came back with "the price they lose money" at 37,200. I said no chance I go higher than 36,000, they countered with 36,600, I stuck at 36k, they didnt budge and I walked. THe difference was either $398 or $384,,,surprised they let me walk. Oh well, next delaership tomorrow we shall see.

Don't waste your time at the dealer. Just negotiate via e-mail. Start with a $5.5-6k discount. If/when one dealer confirms then you know it is doable deal. Then e-mail the next dealer and go for a higher discount ($500-$1k higher).
Hi I was hoping someone could comment on this deal. I'm looking at the Q50 vs a GS350. The latter is obviously more expensive. Anyway, here is what I got from Infiniti
QS50 Sport with Nav MSRP $48,830 Cap cost $43,433 Residual 50% Money factor .00018 Term 39 months Mileage I went with 20K as I always go over on leases Payment is $549.16 which includes CT sales tax of 6.35%
They will also pick up my last Maxima payment, not in the above and my lease termination fee, also not in the above. I will pay fees (about $1,500) and first payment up front/
Thanks. Korey
$1,500 plus first month payment seems pretty high for a drive off. You should get the breakdown. Depends on what your dealer doc fee is but I wouldn't to higher than $1k for fees and first month.

Also, would the disposition fee be waived if going from Nissan to Infiniti? Pretty much the same company. I would call Nissan Financial and ask.

I went to another dealer yesterday. they also came back at 37,200 (for 42,3k msrp). I told them I would just go back to the first one if that was their final price. The mgr asked if I had the other dealers quote in writing. I said no,but if he was willing to do it at the 36k price I will get the rep on speaker phone. He agreed, and the rep from other dealer fortunately picked up.
So I got: $42,3k msrp premium rwd with nav 36k net cap inc all fees
$384/month inc takes 39/12
Only paid first month, and got the car.
So finally after three leases, I got what I consider a good deal. Thanks guys.

$2,376 taxes and fees due at signing, including $700 bank fee, $88 document fee, $12.50 disposable tire fee, and first month payment
$357/mo
Is this a good deal?
With my calculation $700 is NOT included in the down payment. It has been added to the Cap Cost. Otherwise, you should be able to get $339/mo if you pay $700 bank fee up front. This is a good deal. Just not sure why you get $18/mo extra payment.
Here's the deal I was offered in NY...
Q50 Premium AWD for 10k/39mo
MSRP: $45,830
Illuminated kick plates, all weather mats, cargo package, 60/40 split seat, spare tire, and navigation
Price offered: $37,988.16

Hey guys, my lease is up in October, but I want to go ahead and see if I could get a good deal now on a '15 before the '16's come out (are they coming out any time soon?).
But anyway what is the MF and Residual on a 2015 q50 Premium 10/12K? I dont mind if its 36 or 39 month i just want the best deal. I'm in Miami, FL.

I'll assume RWD since you are in Florida.
36/12 - 55% and .00032. Add 1% for 10K and subtract 1% for 39 months.

There are two separate transactions here ... the lease of the new Infiniti and the trade in of the Acura.
First, you need to call AFS and get the current payoff on the TL. Next, head over to the "Real World Trade in Values" discussion to see what it's worth in trade. Then, you'll know how much positive or negative equity you have. Don't let the dealer tell you "they'll make the remaining payments" or "we'll just roll everything in" - that just obscures the facts.
For the Q50, we need to know the selling price (or, better yet, the net capitalized cost after fees have been accounted for) before we can model a payment. The 39/15 numbers for the Q50 Sport RWD are 52% and .00032.
Thanks for your help Michaell. I have $2000 negative equity in Acura. Q50s MSRP $47,250 Net cap cost 42,845 not including above $2k.
Thanks for the additional info. Q50S RWD numbers for 39/15 are .00032 and 52%. Using your MSRP and cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $490.16.
Each $1000 of negative equity adds about $26/mo to the payment ($1000 / 39). So, another $52 on top of that if you add the negative equity to the cap cost. Now we're at $542 or so.
Tax is Florida is what, 7%? Add that to the monthly payment and we get a total of $580. Pretty darn close to your dealer quote of $575/mo.
Only way to improve on it is to negotiate a better selling price or cover the negative equity yourself. Have you taken your Acura to a CarMax to see what they would offer in trade? Might not be as upside down as you think. Could also consider selling it privately - that might eat up some of the difference to the payoff as well.
Thanks again. Selling privately is not option because it would add about $1700 in sales tax to my buyout. Will go with dealer, absorb the $2k and enjoy the car I want to drive!
thanks thought so as well, first dealership offered me the car in graphite 455 with 455 out of pocket and then i found a white one through a leasing company for 453 with 453 out. this is my third infiniti so maybe they "hooked me up."

Do you have specifics on the tax credit? I'm getting a Q50 this month and taxes are 2k and change in San Antonio.
Thanks in advance.
I guess you can ask the dealership directly. Just say they should have sales tax credit to use for your lease.

Okay, finally got the breakdown in the $2,376 due at signing:
Capitalized Cost: $37,988.16 It was mentioned to add "$99 wheel locks as AMO". Cash due at signing is $2,376 = $1231 tax + $700 bank fee + $75 NYS document fee + $12.50 tire tax + $357 first month payment (DMV fees extra)
got a letter from my dealer as we have a turn in date on a G37 of August (2 payments left). Are there any incentives I can't find for them to take a car in early, we are a little over mileage too. Looking at a new Q50 premium with packages putting us about $46,500 MSRP. If not should we wait out lease, what are peoples thought on where the money factor might be in August and residual. Thanks in advance for any info
MSRP: $43,595 Sales Price: $37,600 Cap Cost Red: $2500 MF: +/- $790 (.00018?) Residual: $21,900 (I think they are using 50-50.5% -- which they haven't clarified) 17K Miles 39 months
Tax is 8% (CA) so its approx. $356 per month not including tax / $385 per month with tax
Based on what I've read on these forums, it seems like I should be able to get a lower sales price using a VPP, and the residual (50 - 50.5%) seems lower than other deals I've seen. Shouldn't it be closer to 52% - even with 17K miles?

Let me know what you think.
.00018 is the MF for AWD; .00032 for RWD.
The extra miles are charged to you at .15/per, deducted off the 15K residual. I suspect that's what makes the percentage lower than what you think it should be.
Still, $385/mo for a car that retails at over $43K is not a bad deal at all.
