Yeah, I think I just request the Residual for 39/15 and when I changed to 39/10, I didn't require that number, and the Net Cap Cost was 41,266.99, I typed in the wrong number at first question. Do you think I can get $2,000 lower than current Net Cap Cost, 41,266.99? So that I can have 2000/39 lower than current monthly payment 427?

Hi guys, I visited the infiniti dealership today, the car I want to lease is 2015 Q50 AWD premium with Nav and Spare tire pack
    39 months / 10k miles per year

    MSRP $45,380
    Sales $39.925

    Lease Terms
    Gross Cap Cost - 41,000
    Net Cap Cost - 41,000
    Residual - 23,579 (52%)
    Total Monthly Payment - 427

I want to know is it a good deal for leasing, and I want to know what is my MF.
And if it is not a good deal, what is the lowest Monthly payment I can pay (my expectation is around 350), is it possible?

MF on the AWD Q50 is .00018. Plugging in your MSRP and net cap I get a payment before tax of $458/mo. Not sure how the dealer is getting to $427.

BTW, the 39/10 residual on the AWD Premium is 55%; you are getting the 39/15 residual - that alone takes the pre-tax payment down to $423/mo.

Getting to $350 will be a stretch; you'll save about $26/mo on the payment for every $1000 you shave off the net cap cost.

I don't track selling prices, nor have I ever shopped in that price range before. Read back through the last few pages of posts to see what others have been able to negotiate. Also, use the Edmunds pricing tools (make / model / year) at the top of the page.

I get $370/mo with your numbers, so pretty close. Only way to make it better is to negotiate more off the sticker price, but you're already at $7K - can't see how you can do better.

    Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a Q50 lease, but in my area both Infiniti dealerships are owned by the same guy, operating as what would appear to be two separate dealers.

I really want the 19 inch alloy rims but I noticed that the option is only available in a premium (with the addition of a few packages) or sport trim.

Any tips on what to expect in the Southwest Florida area in terms of pricing and payments?

    Thanks,

    Ed

.00032 MF and 53% residual for RWD Base for 39mo, 15K/yr.
Premium or Sport residual is 1% lower.

Don't fall in love with accessories/options when leasing a vehicle. You can take a car that has a pretty reasonable lease price and turn it into a bad deal.

You're absolutely right on the falling in love part. They usually do 10K/ yr. leases down here. Would that change the MF or residual?

    Market Value Selling Price 45,630.00
    Discount 4,400.00

    Adjusted Price 41,230.00

    Total Purchase 41,230.00
    Taxable Fees (Estimated) 300.00
    Trade Allowance
    Trade Difference 41,230.00

I'd want a full accounting of the cash due at signing - if any of it is going to cap cost reduction, we advise against it. If the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

The $699 doc fee isn't doing you any favors, either.

Read back through the last few pages on this discussion to see what kind of discount others have been able to negotiate. There might be room to get more of a discount from sticker.

Do you have 24 and 36 or 39 lease numbers for a 15,000 mileage lease?

I've been quoted the following and can't tell if it's good or not on a Q50 premium. Dealer contacted me to get out of my 24 month Q50 lease early and into another one.

    MSRP: $47,245
    Sales Price: $41,396
    Dealer Adds: $395

    $41,674

Trade Payoff: $2,660 (I have a questiont to the dealer on this as they said they'd handle the last 6 months of payments)

    Tax: 850,.0
    License, etc.: 262.19
    Acquisition Fee $700

    52% Residual
    39 months
    $592.20 payment with $500 Down

Not sure how a feel about the 39 month term...would love opinions on this.

$600/mo on a Q50 seems expensive. I wonder if the dealer is simply rolling over the negative equity from your current lease into the new one.

Find out what the payoff is (call IFS for this information), then head over to the "Real World Trade In Values" discussion to see what it's worth to the dealer.

If you read back through the last page or two of this discussion, you can see what others have been able to negotiate.

So this is what I was quoted today
    Im in CA

    Q50 Base RWD

    38930.00
    MF.00032
    39 10k
    299.00 month
    1k down
    RV@56%

First dealer I contacted, we didnt really negotiate but got numbers off him.

I asked about the MF and said its non negotiable.

What I want to do is
    33499.00
    36 12k
Month about 250 with tax included
    0 down
All I want to pay to take the car off the lot is the basics, tax, lic, etc
    Plus I have a trade in KBB @ 5K

Think this is doable? Sorry first time leasing and been reading about all this like a mad man for the last few days.

Looking for money factor & residual for:
    2015 Q50 Hybrid Premium AWD
Nav pkg + kick plates, floor mats
    20,000 miles/yr
    39 month lease

    This is the offer:
    $49,750 MSRP
    $43,791 "price"
    $534/mo
    Doc fee $75
    Acquisition fee $700
$3000 at signing including first months payment

They also have "rent" called out - $1,012
    Depreciation listed at $19,846
    Residual listed at $24,245
    Adj Cap Cost $44.091

Miles are higher than typically posted so I'm not sure if this deal is good or not.

    Thanks.

    $250/mo for a $38K car? Doesn't seem likely.

.00032 is the base MF.. can't go any lower than that. Residual is correct, as well.
36/12 has the same residual as 39/10, but with fewer months, the price will rise.

$1000 upfront and $299/mo. looks pretty good..

    .00023 MF and 53% residual for 39mo, 15K/yr.
Looks like they are adjusting the residual about $0.13/mile for the extra 16,250 miles.

I get $517/mo. using the "price" as the CAP cost..
Hard to know the true CAP without knowing a breakdown of the $3000 (how much for taxes, any CAP reduction, etc..)

The rent is just the finance charge portion of the payments, added up.. It's cheap at .00023 MF.

I'm guessing this is New York?

Seems like you are in the ballpark.. Not bad for a ton of miles.

    .00038 MF and 55% residual for 39 months, 12K/yr.

That's the only term that makes sense on this model

Looking for money factor & residual for:
    2015 Q50 Hybrid Premium AWD
Nav pkg + kick plates, floor mats
    20,000 miles/yr
    39 month lease

    This is the offer:
    $49,750 MSRP
    $43,791 "price"
    $534/mo
    Doc fee $75
    Acquisition fee $700
$3000 at signing including first months payment

They also have "rent" called out - $1,012
    Depreciation listed at $19,846
    Residual listed at $24,245
    Adj Cap Cost $44.091

Miles are higher than typically posted so I'm not sure if this deal is good or not.

    Thanks.

    .00023 MF and 53% residual for 39mo, 15K/yr.

Michaell - I received another quote breakdown and I'm close to pulling the trigger so I would appreciate another glance. State tax is based on depreciation?

    MSRP $49,750
Cap Cost - $44,491.50 (includes acquisition fee of $700)
    Residual 53% - $26,367.50 less $1,625 for the additional miles = $24,742.50
    Money factor 0.00043
    $3,000 up front:
    - Cap cost reduction $433.97
    - Doc fee $75.00
    - Sales tax @ 7.125 $1,439.44
    - License fees $526.75
    - First months payment $524.84

    Thanks.

This forum along with true car helped me get a great deal.  Willow grove, pa

    Q50a moonroof/winter pack pearl paint
    39/15

    msrp 41685
    cap 34500
    res 22093
    depr 12407/39

    base 318
    rent 9

    $327/mo plus tax

i put down $1305 which included first month (356) plus all fees ($949). I think it was a great deal considering I was about to get a fully loaded altima for $50 cheaper. The car is for my fiancee but I will surely enjoy it. Wheel and tire package seemed like a scam. They would only come down to $1000 on it and wouldn't let me see the actual contract.
