Some manufacturers (Ford, for one) offers a straight residual modification. Most, however, deduct a fixed amount for each extra mile, but the charge varies between .10 and .25 per.

So, if the charge is .10, and you want 18K per year instead of 15K on a 3 year lease, the extra 9000 miles will cost you $900, which is deducted from the residual amount based off the 15K residual percentage.

They quoated me this #'s off MSRP of $45k. Good? Price is good till tuesday.

Selling price or net cap cost is an important number ... without it, I can't really tell you if $399/mo is good or not.

I convinced my buddy to trade in his Touareg so the dealership is supposedly going to give the both of us a hook up on a q50. Right now the #'s are $415 a month ($378 if you take away Chicago's 9% usage tax) / 10k miles for the awd premium w/ navi. Still going to haggle them some more so will see.

Thanks for the continual help on this forum. I have used it many times. Can you provide RV and MV for a Q50s RWD here in NC? Lease is either 39/12 or 36/12 I cant remember. I was going to lease one last year and didn't. Now, I'm ready. Looks like the RV numbers aren't that great.

MF, Residual, 39/12 for: Q50 Premium and Q50 Sport. 2015

I will purchase in July (next week)

I should get the Loyalty discount. Is it available for July? It's my 3rd Infiniti lease and in the past it was given ($1,500).

Do we keep track on the discount from MSRP or Invoice generally seen during leases?

Right now dealer offering:
Premium/Sport: .00032 MF, %54/%53 residual.
Premium: MSRP 42,630 sale price 35,500
Sport: MSRP 45,200 Sale 39,000

Also, are ALL the dealers stocking these models with the extras that add cost but no value:
Splash guards: $205, All weather package: $200,
Cargo package: $200, Iluminated kick plates: $440 (these are really a waste of $$$).
SO an extra $1,045!

Should I be able to find these models without any of these extras?
They do have the 60/40 split option ($450) and I can use it.

I will purchase in July (next week)

I should get the Loyalty discount. Is it available for July? It's my 3rd Infiniti lease and in the past it was given ($1,500).

Do we keep track on the discount from MSRP or Invoice generally seen during leases?

Right now dealer offering:
Premium/Sport: .00032 MF, %54/%53 residual.
Premium: MSRP 42,630 sale price 35,500
Sport: MSRP 45,200 Sale 39,000

Also, are ALL the dealers stocking these models with the extras that add cost but no value:
Splash guards: $205, All weather package: $200,
Cargo package: $200, Iluminated kick plates: $440 (these are really a waste of $$$).
SO an extra $1,045!

Should I be able to find these models without any of these extras?
They do have the 60/40 split option ($450) and I can use it.

I show both Premium and Sport at 54% residual.

If those extras are on the sticker and residualized, then the cost is a lot less.. Personally, I wouldn't be willing to pay any extra for those items, though.

Thanks, so the .00032 is right? Since ive seen .00016 and othe low numbers i wanted to check. Also the loyalty is 1,500?

.00032 is correct for RWD. AWD MF is .00018

Don't have the answer for your loyalty question.

Does anyone have any information on requirements for insurance when leasing a Q50? Or if that's even an issue?

I know the minimum in my state, but does Infiniti have a certain requirement?

Anybody have any information to share on this issue?

I'm assuming 100/300/50 would be sufficient?

I doubt the minimum required by the state would be sufficient. 100/300/50 shouldn't be a issue.

Besides, those are liability limits. Those don't protect your own vehicle.

MSRP 44,985 including destination fee

39 month term
10k miles/year
Monthly payment - $434 tax included
Total Money Due - $434

Cap Cost - $38,985
Residual - 55%
Money Factor - .00018

I'm hoping I can get the cap cost down more by shopping it. The MF and Residuals look right, but let me know about the monthly payment. Fees rolled into lease.

Thoughts?

I think your cap cost number isn't what the dealer is using. With those numbers, I'm showing $400.23/mo after tax.

Administration/Doc fee - $402
New Plates - $135

Total - $1,237
Monthly Capitalization is $31.7
