Got this quote today:
Q50 Premium AWD. In MA. 6.25% tax
MSRP 44,985 including destination fee
39 month term
10k miles/year
Monthly payment - $434 tax included
Total Money Due - $434
Cap Cost - $38,985
Residual - 55%
Money Factor - .00018
I'm hoping I can get the cap cost down more by shopping it. The MF and Residuals look right, but let me know about the monthly payment. Fees rolled into lease.
Thoughts?
I think your cap cost number isn't what the dealer is using. With those numbers, I'm showing $400.23/mo after tax.
The fees are rolled in and capitalized as follows:
Acqusition Fee - $700
Administration/Doc fee - $402
New Plates - $135
Total - $1,237
Monthly Capitalization is $31.7
I just received a message on page 25 here the other day that RWD Premium was .00032? Should I expect to see .00038 when I go on Saturday to lease mine?
Also, what is the residual for a 39/12 (which is the option I'm purchasing). Right now I was assuming it was 54%.

That was a typo..
.00032 MF and 55% residual for 36/12 and 54% for 39/12. Add 1% for 10K/yr.

No, non-hybrid. Simply RWD Premium Q50 2015 3.7. So are we looking at 0.00032 or 0.00038?

.00032 for regular RWD; .00038 for Hybrid RWD
You guys are awesome. Thanks. The 0.00032 is matching the payments I'm getting from the dealer too in my excel worksheet.
Thanks again guys.
Working on a 2015 Q50 Premium RWD deal right now and am supposed to go Saturday to see how it goes.
As of now, with what I've learned off this forum and a few other places I've gotten a Moonlight White with Leather seat package, navigation package, Performance Wheel Package wheel swap, GAP insurance included, standard warranty, etc....
$349.00 per month 39 month, 12k miles, MSRP is $44980, sell price is $36723.74, assuming money factor will be 0.00032 if credit goes as planned. $2000 down (includes all fees and taxes dealer says), and I at least know so far there is the $700 acquisition fee and $589.50 doc fee. Not sure yet what the NC taxes and tags will be at signing.
None the less, feel like I have a pretty good deal here based off the things I've learned from this forum.

Will do. Literally scared to death I'll show up Saturday and they'll spring some unforseen fee on me to try and jack up the deal. My fingers are crossed. Pray for me. Will hit you guys back on Saturday night or Sunday with either extreme joy or unequivocal gloom.

If it helps, I've seen other deals around that payment range in the last month or so. But, be vigilant and watch for any extra fees they might slip in there.
Thanks to this website and another, today I picked up my 2015 Premium RWD Q50 for what I feel like was a good deal. Needless to say, was amped driving this home. Got it for $349 a month 39 months, 12k miles a year.
Make sure you read up on this website and check for all info before going to lease a vehicle. Very valuable information here.

Infiniti of Charlotte. Go straight and either contact Travis Kiser or Jimmy Herlocker (the GM). Those two did fantastic work for me and are easy to communicate with.
One of the best things I found out was that if I re-lease after the 39 months with a new infiniti, I'll be able to get around $1000 bonus cash and I could essentially go to the 15k mile per year lease for the same monthly payment.
Fantastic group of people and they have tons of Q50's on the lot. They have a good Q50 Sport that's grey up for lease too right now. Was a demo that the GM was driving.

Is $1000 the full amount due at signing? If not, what is that amount?
I am looking to lease a Q50 AWD premium package and was wondering if the current dealer cash incentives if are same or different. Meaning if i negotiate a price for buying, will i be able to use the same price for leasing? Thanks!
I know I'm probably handling this wrong but my intention at the end of the lease is to trade it in. So shouldn't I just care about monthly payment and upfront costs. Also watching for an inflated disposition fee. Isn't all the number crunching really for equity and buying power?
I am being offered 2015 awd with moonroof for $41500 in Kirkland WA.

that is the full amount due at signing, initially they were offering 0 down at $370 but i bargained down to $350 with which they counter offered but with $1000 down due at signing (kinda doesn't make sense because that's basically the amount I'm trying to save by going down from $370 to $350?). Right now, i'm trying to bargain down the down payment (even though my credit is stellar) but they won't budge.

I don't have the incentive information, so can't comment. That's a good question to ask the dealer when you start shopping. No point in negotiating a price that won't be any good, when you tell them you want to lease.

12k/39mo $800 down (1st month +TTL) $329 Inc tax
Seems like a deal. Opinions?
If you don't know the numbers, how do you know you got the best deal? $800 upfront and $329/mo. is a great deal... but, what if you ran the numbers and found out that they had an extra $1000 of wiggle room?
None of the number crunching has anything to do with lease end. Residuals are set by the bank and are the same for everyone, no matter what deal you negotiate. Also, disposition fees are fixed by the bank and aren't subject to markup, either.

It looks like you have reached that dealer's bottom line.. Either shop another dealer, or take that deal. Q50s are leasing cheap... You won't be able to match that with a comparable car in another make.

One delership says there is 1750 extra cash for purchase but i couldn't verify it from any other place. Anyone else here has any experience?

But all I'm missing are the numbers that don't change right? I mean, I look at this discussion thread and I get an idea of what the market for a Q50 is. My offer seems significantly less monthly and upfront than any other offer I saw. So can I really be missing wiggle room? I just received a revised offer of the following...
2015 Q50 AWD Premium 39mo/12k miles $329 inc tax $800 down (1st payment+Title,Registration,License blah blah)
I feel really comfortable with this deal. I don't plan on buying at the end so the purchase option at the end doesn't matter to me. Plus, if the disposition fee is standardized which I was quoted $375 then there really shouldn't be any surprises.
After being with Acuras for a long time, we finally decided to give Infiniti a good try. Since this make was a first time territory for us, went with the leasing option and general it just has started to make more sense. I don't understand why there is some stigma associated with leases that it is more about affordability etc. It is NOT. It is is strictly about finance on a depreciating asset everyone wants and needs but hates to get stuck with for the most part.
Some aggressive competition going on in the DFW area where there are 3 main dealers. Really worked hard with a couple of them after rejecting the 3rd one outright for being too presumptuous with their attitude.
Q50 RWD Premium + 19" option + Leather + Navi + Cargo = $400/month with only first month due at drive off. First yr maintenance included. 12K/39mo/54%/0.00032 Standard end of lease terms including purchase option and disposition (these are probably negotiable too but I didn't)
Taxes on net sales price hurts leases in TX, VA, GA, MD etc otherwise this is probably a $370 taxes included deal in other states which is very good I think.
Deal may not be available tomorrow or it may sweeten next month , who knows. 2 dealers will work towards those numbers and I feel really bad for the one I didn't go with because they tried really hard IMO. I had my own spreadsheet handy to work numbers that I have built and keep it handy in google docs for negotiating on the go and this really helps. Information found earlier in this thread was obviously a big help and I thank the contributors especially Michael and kyfdx.
I will share what I can in here but probably be able to answer more via PMs if there are folks in the DFW area looking at this.
Once you build your spreadsheet things become a whole lot easier and you also realize what other lease experts mention is every car make leasing thread and forums - negotiating the selling price is the biggest key to good monthlies.
Need some help here in Southern California... Went to a dealer to check out a 2015 Q50 base purchase price $35,500 - $1,500 trade in credit. I don't have all the numbers in front of me, but from what I remember $23,000 residual. Dealer was reluctant to tell me money factor, eventually just said 115. This is for my brother and he has 820+ credit. Monthly lease was $550 with $3,500 down! I didn't want to play games, so I said it's time to leave. Here's my question though, after reading most of this thread. Another local dealer has 2015 Q50 base w/ sunroof advertised for $1,999 down and $259 monthly plus tax. 39 months, 10k miles, msrp $39,695. Small print reads: includes destination and all available dealer incentives, no security deposit required. Is this a legit deal or should we not even bother?
Need some help here in Southern California... Went to a dealer to check out a 2015 Q50 base purchase price $35,500 - $1,500 trade in credit. I don't have all the numbers in front of me, but from what I remember $23,000 residual. Dealer was reluctant to tell me money factor, eventually just said 115. The ad sure seems like a more legit deal than the one that the first dealer gave you.... You can read back a few pages and see that his quote was ridiculously high.
.00032 MF and 56% residual for 39mo, 10K/yr on RWD base model.

Also, what is the residual for a 39/12 (which is the option I'm purchasing). Right now I was assuming it was 54%.
Just looking to get your input. Thanks.
.00032 MF and 55% residual for 36/12 and 54% for 39/12. Add 1% for 10K/yr.

$349.00 per month
39 month, 12k miles, MSRP is $44980, sell price is $36723.74, assuming money factor will be 0.00032 if credit goes as planned.
Really appreciate all you guys help.

Make sure you read up on this website and check for all info before going to lease a vehicle. Very valuable information here.
Either way, MF is marked up.
The tax on the entire selling price really hurts your lease payment in Texas.
If RWD, I get a payment of $539 with tax included. For AWD, the payment drops a bit to $529/mo

Wanted to see if you could check my work on a different vehicle.
39/15
Msrp: 43,595
Sales price: 38,364
q50 RWD
.00032 money factor .52 residual
Texas
2015 Q50 RWD ( I believe I read the money factor does not change based on added packages)
MSRP: 43,595
Lets assume a 12% discount: 38,364 sales price. (is 12 a good discount or should I fight for more)
43,595 X .52 = 22,669(residual)
38,364 + 2,397(Texas Tax) +(400 doc fee) = 41,161 (adjusted Cap cost)
41,161(adj cap cost) -22,669(residual) = 18,492 (depreciation)
18,492 (depreciation) / 39 months = 474 (depreciation over 39 months)
41,161 (adj cap cost) + 18,492(depreciation) = 59,653
59,653 X .00032(money factor) = 19 (interest)
Total monthly payment = 493

None of the number crunching has anything to do with lease end. Residuals are set by the bank and are the same for everyone, no matter what deal you negotiate. Also, disposition fees are fixed by the bank and aren't subject to markup, either.

2015 Q50 AWD Premium
39mo/12k miles
$329 inc tax
$800 down (1st payment+Title,Registration,License blah blah)
I feel really comfortable with this deal. I don't plan on buying at the end so the purchase option at the end doesn't matter to me. Plus, if the disposition fee is standardized which I was quoted $375 then there really shouldn't be any surprises.
Please help me if I missed something! Thank you!
