What lease term and how many miles a year are you looking for?
My guess is that the $329/mo includes a hefty cash down payment, which we advise against.
Thanks for the response, Michael. I do know not to put any money down, but I could do Security deposits. I'm thinking Ideally, 3 years, 15k/year. Maybe also open to 12k/year, but I commute 3 hours each way twice a week.
Good Morning !!! I am also looking for residual and MF for a 2016 320i Xdrive in Denver, CO with 36 months and 12K miles. Any incentives for October we should know about. Going into combat on Monday and would like to be armed as much as possible. Thanks in advance
No changes. 65% and .00136. $1500 option allowance.
Planning on going into my local BMW dealer soon and hassling them. Can someone tell me if this is realistic and if my calculations are correct.
2016 328i MSRP: 48145 Base Cap Cost: 40,000 Down Payment: 1,000 Residual: 34183 MF: .00136 Term: 24 months Miles: 12k/year Sales Tax: 5.6 Payment: Around $315/month
Is $8,000 off of the MSRP excessive? I am planning on looking at a loaner vehicle so I assume the residual may be different due to the miles already on it.

71% residual for 24/12. Those prices work out to $362/mo
We don't track selling prices, so can't tell you if that discount is possible.

Please advise if this is a good deal. Bmw 328 xi - $49495.00 MSRP, 36/12k Everything rolled in, including bank fee. Only first months payment due at signing.
65% residual .00136 money factor
$490.00 a month including new york state tax.
According to my calculator, thats about $5000 off MSRP. I think I can do better, thoughts?
Thanks! This forum has been invaluable. You guys are great! I think I will pull the trigger tomorrow.
Do you mind sharing the dealer info? I am from LI and was considering a Passat but looking at your numbers a 3 series now looks possible and attractive.
Hello there! Looking at 2016 loaner/demo 328i xDrives. I live in Bloomington, IN however I'm looking to lease out of state from OH/KY.
Just got these numbers from a dealer in KY for 12k/36mo.
2016 328i xDrive - 4500 miles on it
MSRP $49,895 Selling Price $40,375
Doc Fee $599 Acquisition Fee $925 Cap Fee $15 Cap Taxes $148.72 Gross Cap Cost 41,914
Customer Cash = $2500 (includes first month payment) Net Cap Cost39,983.20 Residual 65% = $32,431.75 Adjust Residual?! = $31,414.75
Money Factor = .00160
Base Monthly Payment = $350.92 Monthly Tax = $24.56
Payment = 375.48
Money factor seems too high to me. Not sure if the .00136 only applies to brand new vehicles or not. Also with an adjusted net cap of roughly $40k for 36mo/12k, what should my payments look like ballpark? Any help would be very much so appreciated.

If the car hasn't been titled, it is eligible for new car rates.
I get $352/mo before tax with your numbers; the MF hike is adding about $17/mo to the payment.
The adjusted residual is correct; it is deducted for the miles already on the car.

1. Is the BMW Pull ahead program dead these days? I am trying to get a 328xi by turning in my 2014 X3 6 months ahead of lease termination but none of the dealers in NJ seem to be interested in waiving off the remaining payments on X3? Am I nuts in expecting such a thing or are they just playing hard ball? I did use the same program to get X3 in 2014 6 months ahead of lease termination and all the remaining 6 payments on my 328xi got waived back then.
2. what's a good discount percentage to expect on 320xi and 328xi these days? is 16% off MSRP too unrealistic to expect? so for a 42k MSRP car, a selling price in the range of 36k is practical or no?

1. No pull ahead program from BMW that I'm aware of 2. Anything above 7% is good, but read back through this thread to see what others have gotten
That was actually the best pre-incentives discount I got out of the 4 dealerships in the area. Anyway to approach that besides just getting them to try to top each other? Waiting to hear on the Adjusted Cap Cost for that one, another dealer gave me $3,695 upfront for fees and taxes and hit the $375/month on a slightly higher MSRP of $47,060.

Determine a target selling price you would be comfortable with. Tell each of the dealers the first one to meet that numbers gets your CC # to make a deposit.
The problem is that as inventory shrinks, the odds favor the dealer again. They aren't as likely to offer the big discounts you may have seen a month or two ago.
Got the same response from the dealer. cap cost is 37,481 with everything included tax and incentives. Just waiting for them to confirm availability of the color that I want. Thank you Michaell!!!!!

Oh, so your out of pocket goes down as they are adding those taxes and fees are added in. Even better!
$0 Down, ~$1,450 Due at Signing (incl. Doc Fees, Title/Reg, NJ Luxury Tax, First Month Payment)

Thanks in advance!

Yes it is, however for whatever reason, they are marking it down 0.0001; even showed me the computer screen showing .00126 in the worksheet. Adjusted cap is $47,750 with NJ sales tax (7%) and acquisition rolled in.

Hmm, strange. I'm not sure where the disconnect is occurring here; it may be my fault and I apologize if so. I'm getting $494 with my calculations (which I may be doing incorrectly if we're $30/mo apart):

No .. the fault is mine. I had my lease term set for 39 months, not 36. I get the same payment, now.
Okay, great. From reading through posts, I know that prices aren't tracked here. However, being that I don't have any additional applicable incentives like loyalty, fleet, etc., do you feel as though this is a reasonable deal for a 2016 model?

$494/mo for a $52K car is a pretty good deal. For BMW, anything above 7% discount from sticker is good, before incentives.
All, I just wanted to follow up. Here is my final deal. Picking up the car on Saturday. I went to a different dealer who offered me a better car.
2016 328i xDrive w/SULEV Sedan MSRP $46635.00 Not sure what the final negotiated price came out to because I just had them beat the other dealer's price and thats all I was concerned with. However, here are some other details:
36/12k lease $380.00 a month including New York State tax (Long Island). Got Fleet discount. 481.47 + DMV fees down =$731.47 total down. Lease Acquistion Fee rolled in.
Thank you everyone for your help. I couldn't have done it without you!

Oh and I'll just add that it was a new vehicle, not a loaner or a demo. The associate told me that the manager selects a few cars each month to give really good incentives on. This just happened to be one of them. I wonder if I could have gone lower, but I am happy with the price!

OK. If I have a line on a 328d wagon, I know the MSRP - 53,275. They're offering the car at 9% off retail. Assuming the car is 65% residual for a 3 year, 12k lease, then what am I looking at in terms of payment?
I keep seeing ads on the BMW page for 369/mo, but this looks much higher to me: I'm getting in the low 500s for a monthly payment. How do I get from here to there or below? Thanks all!

MSRP $49,895
Selling Price $40,375
Doc Fee $599
Acquisition Fee $925
Cap Fee $15
Cap Taxes $148.72
Gross Cap Cost 41,914
Customer Cash = $2500 (includes first month payment)
Net Cap Cost 39,983.20
Residual 65% = $32,431.75
Adjust Residual?! = $31,414.75
Money Factor = .00160
Base Monthly Payment = $350.92
Monthly Tax = $24.56
Payment = 375.48
Money factor seems too high to me. Not sure if the .00136 only applies to brand new vehicles or not. Also with an adjusted net cap of roughly $40k for 36mo/12k, what should my payments look like ballpark? Any help would be very much so appreciated.
Thank you!
Does bmw loyalty credit transfer to family members under the same address?
I get $352/mo before tax with your numbers; the MF hike is adding about $17/mo to the payment.
The adjusted residual is correct; it is deducted for the miles already on the car.

The problem is that as inventory shrinks, the odds favor the dealer again. They aren't as likely to offer the big discounts you may have seen a month or two ago.

Not sure what the final negotiated price came out to because I just had them beat the other dealer's price and thats all I was concerned with. However, here are some other details:
36/12k lease
$380.00 a month including New York State tax (Long Island). Got Fleet discount.
481.47 + DMV fees down =$731.47 total down.
Lease Acquistion Fee rolled in.
Thank you everyone for your help. I couldn't have done it without you!
Here is the quote I got from a so-cal dealer.

I keep seeing ads on the BMW page for 369/mo, but this looks much higher to me: I'm getting in the low 500s for a monthly payment. How do I get from here to there or below? Thanks all!
