What would be the adjusted CAP cost if..
    12k/36 month lease
List Price: $48,776 (Black 330i, M sports, Driver assist and Premium Package, with Navi, heated seats, and other accessories)
My monthly is $426 a month with 8.75% tax (LA) included
It was a loaner with 3661 miles.

I'm trying to figure out how much money I could've saved if I didn't pull the trigger so fast.

Cap cost stated was mid 3800s, but I got to go home to check

$2000 drive off (first month, tax, registration, acquisition, doc)

At the end of the day, you are driving a $49K BMW for $426/mo, tax included.

    That's a good payment.

    Congrats, and enjoy!

True, it's just the whole "Loaner" vehicle thought has been a little bothersome.
Thank you team for the great advise and quick feedbacks as always!

You got approximately $10K off sticker - what's not to like about that?

And, 3881 miles is just barely broken in.

Though, of course, my Jetta, which I leased with something like 20 miles on the odometer, now has just over 4300 after 9 months.

With your MSRP and balance due, I get $538/mo

We suggest you limit your out of pocket to just the first payment and DMV costs.

you mean 538/ a month not including 2000 cash down? because technically with my current offer, I would be paying ~605 (550 + 2000/36) a month. am I really that far off?

    again, thanks for your help!

I just used the numbers you provided. I didn't assume anything.

Likely that not all of that $2K is cap reduction - bank fee, dealer fee, first payment, DMV costs are probably eating up some of that cash.

IF you go to BMWUSA web page they will show all lease incentives at this time, currently, on all 3 series except 330e it is $2500, it's 5K for the 330e.

What are the MF, residual (36/10), and MSD for 340i in CA this month? Are these numbers dependent on state?

Hi, I'm looking at a 330i. Three questions:
1 - I am reading the MSD program is dead as of 5/1. Can you confirm? (so sad!)
2 - Is there an option to lease for less than 10k/yr?
    3 - Is there a 39 month lease option?

    Thanks!

    1) Yes, it's gone
    2) No, 10K/yr is the least
    3) Yes, but not incentivized, so payment would be higher than 36 months

Hi, I'm going to lease a manual transmission 330i and here's the offer:

    36 Month Lease 10,000 miles a year:

    MSRP: $45,095
    Sale Price: $40,285 + $2,500 lease rebate = $37,785
Total out of pocket: $6,000 (including one months payment)
    Monthly Payment: $291.53 + tax

Is this a good deal for memorial weekend? I don't mind putting a big downpay, prefer to minimize overall cost.

    Thanks!

Why are you putting 6K down? Just to lower the payment? The best thing to do is put just fee's down and place the extra money in a bank account and help make your payments, Just a FYI, if you put that large of a down payment and the car gets totaled you will lose that 6K.

    Doesn't look too good.
Ask for the adjusted CAP cost and an explanation of how they arrived there.
If I take out first payment and $925 acquisition fee + $300 DMV fee from your $6000, that leaves an adjusted CAP of about $33,400. With that CAP, the payment should be about $243/mo.+tax
    .00150 MF and 62% residual

Looks like a lot of extra charges hiding in there, plus a money factor markup.

Does this seem right? Can't figure out why the monthly finance charge is $128.93.

The calculation for the rent charge is the cap cost + residual value, multiplied by the MF of .00150

    The math is correct.

Is this a good deal for lease?

    Pennsylvania
2017 320i xDrive (demo with ~4k miles on it)
Base model with few options (heated front seats, moon roof, power front seats)

    10k miles per year / 36 months
    MSRP: $39,695
    Initial Cap Cost: $35,425.82
    Rebate: $2500
    Adjusted Cap Cost: $32,925.82

    Zero down.
First month including all taxes/fees: $1667.62
$399.97 per month after that (incl. taxes)

    Thanks.

That doesn't look much better than what you could get for a new car with 0 miles on it, frankly

.00150 and 62%, less .25/mile for the demo miles

What is the breakdown of the up front cash? Acquisition fee ($925) and first payment ($400), leaving about $350 unaccounted for.

Not sure about the breakdown. But it does include all fees.
Anyway, I'll check with other dealerships and see if I can find something better.
    Thank you!

Thank you. I went to a local dealer under the Costco Auto Program, and they quoted .00190 MF and 59%. Do you know how much leeway local dealers have to move these factors?
