    2. Is there lease cash provided on the 3 series wagon,
    3. Is the AARP discount stackable with the above?

    thanks in advance

Was quoted the following 3 yr 12K miles per year lease on a M sport 2017 340i in Atlanta GA. In GA tax is based on the sales price. I plan on paying the max 7 MSDs, credit score of 800+ and qualify for corp fleet. Is the dealer playing games with the following statement in regards to accessories? I feel like this is an ok deal but that I can do better

"The original MSRP is $58,045. Adjusted with accessories, the retail value is $60,469. We will sell this car for $53,045 including the accessories. So basically, the sale value is technically $51,316 plus the cost front splitter and spoiler at $1,729. I hope that clarifies things. This includes the corporate fleet. So it’s $60,469 minus $7,424. This is the best we can do."

    Monthly Payment $749-$759

    MSRP $58,045
    Discount $5000
    Sale Price $53,045

    Customer Cash $6793.71
    Total Cash and Rebates $6793.71

    Security Deposit $5250
    Advanced Payments $749.71
    Upfront Charges $794

    Due on Delivery $6793.71

If you are not paying the taxes up front, we need to know the adjusted cap cost with taxes and fees added in to the selling price.

As is, your MSRP and sale price result in a payment of $576/mo - that's with 61% residual and .00097 MF (base MF less max MSD).

In addition, you may be responsible for 100% of the cost of the accessories, which will add about $48/mo to the payment.

    Any thoughts on this quote:

    2017 330i with 10,000 miles per year

    MSRP: 42,725
    Selling Price: $37,805
    Down: $0
Drive-offs: $861 (1st payment, DMV, tax, title, registration)
    Monthly payment: $395.24 plus tax

Thoughts? Good deal? I think I could probably get them to take another 25-30 off the monthly payment.

I get $408/mo plus tax with those numbers (62% residual and .00146)

You'd have to shave about $1000 off the cap cost to reduce the payment $25-30/mo

You should just ask them what MF they are using to get that payment. If it's marked up, simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF has been inflated. They know the base rate.

And, if they don't want to disclose the MF to you, perhaps that tells you something about the dealer.

GAP insurance is included on every BMWFS lease. (no extra charge)
Money factor is marked up the maximum from the .00146 base.

Using their numbers, I get $359/mo.+tax
    With the base MF, $337/mo.+tax

    Ah.. I love full disclosure!

Pretty much as I noted above.
That's a really good discount, so I wouldn't sweat the $500 doc fee.
But, the money factor markup is adding $22/mo.+tax.

If they won't budge on it, ask them to drop the price another $600-$800.

Yes, the security deposit monies are returned at lease end.

However, the MSD program from BMW is set to end on 5/1.

    Hi-
What are the MF/residual for a 330i xdrive in NYC? 36 month lease, and lowest possible mileage(I assume 10k?).

How do the numbers change if done as a one-pay lease? Do the options selected have any impact on the MF/residual?

    .00146 MF and 62% residual
    10K/yr is the lowest.

Don't have the info on the one-pay lease, but generally, it hasn't been much of a discount on a BMW.
Options do not change the residual percentage, but a higher MSRP will naturally have a higher residual amount.

We need to know the following information to be able to comment:

    1. negotiated selling price
    2. what the $3000 covers
    3. state and tax rate

In general, a lower price will give you a lower payment, all else being equal. But, we need to know all the different parts of the deal.

The number you want from the dealer is the adjusted CAP cost.
And, how they came up with that number.

Government fees, doc fee, taxes and $925 acquisition fee (for some reason, not shown on your document), plus first payment, add up to right at $3000. (so, that accounts for that).

Money factor has a slight markup (.00146 is base, you have .00156).
Calculations are correct. MF markup only adds about $6/mo.

$6000 off MSRP looks good, too.

Hey fantastic people, thank you in advance for all your help on this forum.

Need some help evaluating/understanding this deal from the dealer.

    2017 340i in CA
    MSRP: $59,600
    Cap Cost: $52,000
    24mo/10k (68% residual): $753/mo ($1336 due)
    36mo/10k (62% residual): $666/mo ($1249 due)
    MF: 0.00146

The fees were $583 (420 for regn, 80 for doc etc.). Don't remember discussing the acquisition fee (which the forum reminded me about) so will ask that next time what's going on with that.

I couldn't reproduce these numbers on the different lease calculators I tried so not sure what I'm missing. I thought I was getting base MF but didn't double last time I visited them so maybe that's wrong.

I have a feeling they just made a quote error here on the payments part. The numbers I'm expecting is $668 for 24mo and $597 for 36mo, which is what I'll ask for. Does that sound right?
