We are seeing more of that, from BMW dealers. Bigger discount from sticker (we've suggested a target of 7%), but a marked up MF.

Ask them what the discount would be for the base MF, then run the numbers both ways and see which results in the lower payment.

Gross Cap Cost: $33228
Net Cap Cost: $35306.

Not sure which one is the Adjusted Cap Cost.

Usually, the Net CAP is the adjusted CAP, but it's also usually less than the Gross CAP.
I'm going to go with the higher number, because that gives me a payment within a dollar of your quote.

So, you have $3000 added from the selling price to the Net CAP.
$925 acquisition fee,
If sales tax is around $2000-$2100, it looks about right.

Not a bad price for Texas.

Any insight into April numbers? I have a early lease turn-in deal that is "expiring" March 31st, but I have a feeling residual may bump up next month and still make it worth it for me to wait.

Also, my current offer has $2500 in rebates that is being applied to drive off reduction (not reducing cap costs) Is there any way to know what these rebates are for? I can't get the dealer to tell me.

I was recently quoted a 2017 340i in NJ. $55,445 MSRP and $46,601 cash sale price, $489 monthly payment which includes tax.

The Fees that seemed normal were First month payment $489, Document $399 and Acquisition $925.

There was then "fees and Ins (upfront)" for $310.50. Is this a legit fee or a dealer money grab?

My total payment due at signing would be $2,500 ( the balance from above fees went to reduce the CAP to get to $46,601).

Is there room for improvement based on April program?

I will ask them for sure! Sorry, it was a 36/10. If I rolled everything into the payment minus DMV and first month like you are suggesting, would you say this is fair, or should I fight harder/shop other dealers?

You are getting almost 16% off sticker price - not sure you can do much better than that, but it can't hurt to reach out to other dealers and get them to compete for your business.

The fleet program gives a .00020 reduction to the money factor. This dealer is marking up the money factor by .00040, before giving you that deduction. I'd shop around.

I'd like to be in a new car on April 22nd. When should I start emailing dealers to get pricing? Second, do the dealers care if the last three payments are being waived? I assume this is something BMWFS covers and not the dealer so it shouldn't matter. Finally, I'm going to use BMW's college grad program. Can I use that $1000 as the down payment? Basically, at lease signing I only want to pay first month's payment, tax, title, etc,, and I presume the acquisition fee. However, if the college grad incentive can be used as a down that's fine. Finally, I seem to remember the acquisition fee being separate from my last lease or can that get rolled into selling price? Thanks in advance.

You can roll anything into the payment. We suggest paying the non-taxable fees upfront, to avoid them being taxed (though that won't matter in a few states).

If you want a car in less than two weeks, you better get busy. It will take you awhile to find out who has the car you want.

If it's a true pull-ahead program from BMW, then the only thing it requires is that the dealer buy your current car from BMWFS for market value. So, technically, no extra cost for them, but if you have a pink car with a stick shift, they may not want it.
