In the bag! 2017 340i, MSRP $60700, selling price $48816, $0 fees rolled in payments, adj. cap cost $48816. had 5 payments left on 435i lease, pull ahead program, dealer pays 2.

36 mos, 15k, $0 down, $0 drive off. $600 per month, tax (7.25%) included. Looks like they inflated MF quite abit to arrive at $600 from $48816 selling price and no fees included.

had 157 miles on it, not a DEMO, didn't bother to negotiate this as it was not included in the 45k allowance. downside is turn in lease had 11k miles left... But new lease seems to be a pretty ok deal?!

Hi what do you think of this price for a 2017 330i xdrive LOANER with 4341 miles 0.00151 MF 62% residual Internet price is $46,609 out the door $1919 in 1st month, bank fee, dmv fee, rebate tax and $470/month which is after $3250 rebates I believe. This is in NYC . Also I am already at end of lease of a 328xi and asked for a 7 days exception so I need to make a deal within a week. Does any BMW in NYC do a pre-assessment or am I just too late for it?

The residual is adjusted downward for the miles that are on the car.

What is the adjusted cap cost, with the fees and taxes rolled in? I get $419/mo with those numbers.

The dealer is saying yes it comes out to $419/month if paying taxes and fees upfront...I'm thinking how is $490/month with $997 upfront the same?

Dealer is saying selling price before rebates is $44,745, net cap is $40,994, but if you are rolling taxes and bank fee in, if you keep everything upfront it is at $418 with $3200 due at signing. Is this the equivalent to the $419/month that you calculated? Thanks again

The dealer also said that they would buy over my car so that I wouldn't have to worry about lease end wear and tear and meeting the deadline since I'm on a 7 day exception.

I would be tempted at that deal, for so little cash laid out. Especially if they are eating the lease end on the old car.

    Hi,
Is the residual/MF for a 2017 340i with 36/15k still 59%/.00151? I read that BMW has stopped their MSD program. Is that true? I'm looking at a manual transmission MSRP $57,430. The dealer's 'internet price' is $53,430 which isn't much of a deal. Also the car has 57 miles on it which makes me think it could be a demo. Need to check.

    .00152 and 58% for 36/15 in September.

MSD program was suspended in the spring.

57 miles is not enough to make it a demo.

Thank you Michaell! Would I still be able to make a single security deposit to reduce the MF by 0.0007?

Hi what do you think of this price for a 2017 330i xdrive LOANER with 4341 miles 0.00151 MF 62% residual Internet price is $46,609 out the door $1919 in 1st month, bank fee, dmv fee, rebate tax and $470/month which is after $3250 rebates I believe. This is in NYC . Also I am already at end of lease of a 328xi and asked for a 7 days exception so I need to make a deal within a week. Does any BMW in NYC do a pre-assessment or am I just too late for it?
The MF this month was bumped up slightly to .00152 What is the MSRP?
MSRP $50,345 MF 0.00152 residual 61% minus $938 for milage totals $29,771 (not sure what dealer meant by this). Selling price is $44,745 minus $3750rebates net cap $40,994. $490/month with $997 down This was the latest info
The residual is adjusted downward for the miles that are on the car. What is the adjusted cap cost, with the fees and taxes rolled in? I get $419/mo with those numbers.
Capital cost is $40994 when roll in taxes and bank fees it becomes $43,437. How did you come about the $419/month, is there a program or formula? Thanks again
I have a home grown lease calculator I plugged your prices into; you can build your own: https://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/calculate-your-own-lease-payment.html
How much are the total taxes and fees? The difference between $419 and $490 is about $2500
The dealer said Capital cost is $40994 when roll in taxes and bank fees it becomes $43,437. So I'm guessing $43,437 minus $40,994 = $2443 which are the taxes and fees? The dealer also said that they would buy over my car so that I wouldn't have to worry about lease end wear and tear and meeting the deadline since I'm on a 7 day exception.
That sounds about right. We prefer you roll in the taxes and fees, and $490/mo is a good payment
Reporting back, ended up paying $1094 because my registration was expiring in less than 45 days so they had to renew it and $480 a month instead of $490. Not too bad for a loaded 2017 LOANERwith 4K miles right?

May I please have the RV & MF on a 2017 BMW 330i 36/12 in the SF Bay Area? Also, what other mileage allowance options does BMW give decent RV/MFs on? Is there one allowance option that stands out? Thank you!!

    Dealer Adjustment: -$4154
    Lease rebate: $-3000
    Net cap: $40,323.40

    License&Reg: $430.75
    Doc Fee: $80

    1st payment: $456.06
    Tax (@9.25%): $390.59

I get $417.43/mo before tax - how much of the $2500 is going to cap reduction?

We recommend you limit your up front cash to just the first payment, license and reg costs, and the $80 doc fee - roll the bank fee into the cap cost.

Ok one thing I just noticed is that the MSRP on the dealer website seems to be inflated. I am comparing against MSRP listed on truecar. Just to be sure that I have the right msrp, can you tell me whats the MSRP for base 330i with Drivers Assistance Package? including destination charge. Truecar and Dealer seems to have a $1040 difference.
  • mrnadirmrnadir Member Posts: 28
I was not able to find MSRP info on the 17's on the bmw website. However that offers page lists the MSRP same as whats on truecar. So the dealer is jacking up the MSRP and then giving a discount? JCPenny trick!

    Hi,
I was hoping to get your thoughts on the following offer for a 2017 340i Manual Transmission, which are hard to come by. I believe there are only a handful available in the entire country.

    MSRP $57,370,
    Selling price $52,000
Cap cost reduction $3,000 (BMW rebate)
    15k/yr MF 0.00152 Residual 58%
    $0 down
    $613.83/month (incl. 9.25% tax)
    $2464.35 drive off ($925 bank acq fee + $468 license + $80 doc fee + $7 gov fee + $277.56 cap cost reduction tax + $92.96 misc tax + $613.83 1st month)

    Thanks!

Thank you for the quick response! I must admit, i got my hopes up after seeing a previous poster bag a deal for $48k for a $61k 340i ;) But I guess the lack of manual transmission stock makes it harder to negotiate.

The only way to get a screaming deal like that is if the 340 was a service loaner. That was not on a NEW 340.

Is .00152 the MF for all 3 series in the Los Angeles area? I need the MF and residual on a 330i sports wagon for 36mo/15K and 36mo/12k please. Also, he's quoting me $925 for acquisition fees and $177 for "other" fees which I assume are admin or doc fees. Are those on the high side? I thought doc fees are about $80 or so. Thank you.

.00152 is the national MF for all 3-series.

    $925 acquisition fee is correct.

Ask for a breakdown of the "other" fees; CA does cap the doc fee at $80.

Any idea what the BMW incentives will be like in Nov/Dec? I'm contemplating custom building a 2018 340i but I don't know if I should pass on a 2017 340i (with a trim and wheels that I can live with but not crazy about) and forego the $3k BMW rebate. The MSRP of my build and the 2017 are quite similar.
