Hello. I'm also looking for the May MF and residuals for a 10k/12k lease on an XLE Awd. I live on the border of PA and NY so could lease in either state if the numbers are different. Thank you!!
Hate to do this to you but I am trying to negotiate for a Hybrid Limited Plat. here in SoCal. Putting $2,000 down they are asking $689/mo for 12k/36mo including TAX and I have no idea if this is a good deal or bad. Of course they are telling me it's a unicorn and I should sign the paper right now. Car is about $50,500 with all the accessories plus tax. They say residual will be $32k and some change. Any feedback??? Thanks.

I can't answer your question, but I can assure you the moderators will ask you for the cap cost and MSRP before they can tell you whether it's a good deal or not.
Total MSRP is $50,542.00. I dont know what is cap cost and i dont know what is their sale price. But i asked these numbers to an other dealer and see if they can match it, they said no.
Hi, sorry if I missed it on another post but can you please provide the MF/RV and incentives if there are any for the XLE AWD? Looking for both 12k/15k on a 36 month lease in CA. Thanks again.

Could you please help me with a few questions about leasing a 2017 Highlander XLE AWD in Washington State? It looks to me like a fairly decent start, but I've never leased before and don't want to screw up. We drive about 10k miles per year. They are offering this lease at $359 per month for 36 months / 12,000 miles per year.
MSRP is $41,678 Down is $1,790 Acquisition fee $650 1st month payment of $359 Capitalized cost $37,318 Lease end purchase option $27,507 Lease factor is .00133
If I were to want to haggle with them to get the starting price down then would I be expecting the monthly payment to drop? I guess I need to know what is the best thing to haggle on and what the impact of that is. $359 seems like a good price, but taxes aren't included yet, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Is there anything that can be done to reduce the lease end purchase price if I decided to buy it after 3 years, or are those set in stone?

.00133 MF and 66% residual. Is $1790 the total amount due at signing?
The calculated payment is correct. WA tax is about 10%, right? So, about $405/mo. with tax.
The selling price/CAP cost is the only place to negotiate. Every $100 less saves about $3.20/mo. on the after-tax payment.
One thing that makes this a decent lease is the high residual. That also makes it a poor candidate to buy out at lease end. You can't change that price.
Thank you. The amount due at signing is the $1790 down payment plus the $650 acquisition fee and the first month payment, so the total is right around $2,800 cash due at signing.
I'm looking at this from the standpoint of trying to get the vehicle for 3 years for the lowest cost possible and then if my wife falls in love with it and we know it isn't a lemon, we can always buy it at the end of the lease. I understand that the end price might not be quite as low as some other leasable vehicles, but she thinks she'll love this one, but I want to try it on first before coughing up $40k.
Feel free to enlighten me if this I'm missing something, since in the past I have always just paid cash for cars, but had 2 that turned out to be actual lemons and get bought back, but after a ton of stress and hassle.

It looks like a decent lease payment for a Highlander. They seem to be very popular. As you noted, you can always make a purchase decision later. I'm all for trying it out on a lease, first.
@Michaell do Toyota dealerships prefer not to have customers use MSD? I was at one tonight and the finance guy who's been there 4yrs seemed to either not know much at all about them or was trying to get me to not consider them.

They aren't well known amongst the Finance staff at Toyota dealers. I've seen posts where the customer had to educate the F&I guy about the program.
It doesn't impact any monies the dealer gets - if anything, being open to the program might help move units that otherwise wouldn't get sold. Toyota is the only non-luxury brand to offer an MSD program.
@Michaell Struggling to find a dealership that is familar with MSDs. I just got an email from a dealership does this sound correct to you? Thank you!
Spoke to my finance manager for you. Toyota does not discount lease rates with security deposits, unless there is no discounted rate available. There is on the Highlander, and the best rate in our region is .00133 for 720 scores and above. The one for 700 is .00143.
They can not be discounted more than that.
The security deposit on a Toyota lease is for only 2 reasons. 1 being used with someone with no so good credit, and the other to bring down the rate when there is no special rates available like on a 4 Runner, Land cruiser etc.

That may be correct for Toyota - only able to use MSD against the standard MF.
Check with a couple other dealers and see if you get a consistent story.
Hey there! Thanks for doing what you do! I love it.Can you let me know if this seems right? The payment seems high as well as the money factor. This is in Florida (7% sales tax).
Highlander XLE 36 months/12K MSRP 40,558 Sales Price $36,174 Residual 65% MF .001850 $1000 down gets me a price of $481.00.
tampak123 South Florida Toyota rates are set by the distributor JM. You will at times see different money factors and residuals than other areas of the country. Very difficult to find out these numbers.

@mlevine is correct - we do not have any reliable information for SE Toyota.
With those numbers, I get $415/mo after tax.
Ask the dealer what the 'adjusted cap cost' is, and how they arrived at that number from the selling price.

The Highlander isn't a cheap vehicle to lease, but that looks like a good deal from the dealer.

The residual percentage won't change, but of course, a higher MSRP means a higher residual amount.
