What considerations do we need to have and what should we be targeting for a balloon option for a Q5 Premium Plus, 36 mo/10K miles in Chicago.

Is the residual and money factor the same? Is the balloon payment and sell back option price negotiable? How should I calculate monthly payments to make sure I'm getting the best deal.

Correct, I was adamant that I did not want to put anything down. The $374 was for registration, inspection and DOC fee.

Yes, $2950 out of pocket. I wanted a certain payment, around $500 before tax, for a 15k/36 month lease.  Most people here lease for 12k or 10k miles which is about $1000 /$1500 cheaper due to higher residuals. It was initially $2500 up front but the addition of audi care required $450 more  to keep the payment the same. I could have leased the car for @$625 a month with $0 out of pocket

Your current lease has a payoff value and a trade value - call AFS for the payoff, and use Carmax or our in house thread "Real World Trade in Values" to get a sense of what it's worth in trade.

Then, you know if you have positive equity - or not.

10% off sticker is quite good for Audi.

You can structure the deal any way you'd like - first payment and DMV costs are our suggestion.

The payment will go up, accordingly, but we prefer the minimal cash up front.
