I received a quote from a dealer that I would like to go with, but their numbers are different from mine so I am not sure what is off with my calculation. Can you let me know if I am off? I am in NJ.

They are taking over a Volvo lease that is $298/month.

The fees and terms seem right, but my calculation shows that the monthly fee should be much less. Do you know what I'm missing? I suspect there is a disconnect in how we are using the rebates because he may be including the rebate in the sale price? If so, then I would need to negotiate the sale price down.

wow, these lease incentives are aggressive. Truecar has the TLX/tech at $42,865 msrp and 36,285 is the actual selling point, but does not mention any incentives in that selling point.

Would I really be able to deduct 5875 from that selling point? anyone out there actually lease this car at around $30k-$31k???

Not that I know how TrueCar comes up with their pricing..
But, $3000 of the $5875 is Acura-to-dealer incentive, so that would already be factored in to any purchase quote.

Yes, there is wiggle room on an advertised deal. You can negotiate a lower selling price, and you can control how much up front cash you give them (hint: a lower amount is better - just the first payment and registration costs)

The TLX leases better than the Accord, at this point.
