Well I’m trying to target about 430 initially with about 1k down. 
Initially it was 450 but after sleeping on it I think that would make me feel more comfortable with it . 
Numbers aren’t far off. Though 
What should my purchase price be if trying to target that?
i calculated about 1-2k less than where we’re at .

I was offered 420 including tax with 1k down on a TLX V6 AWD (15k miles). It's possible that I can go lower than that but we'll see. Not sure how much more room they have to go...

Could you please post MF, RV%, and incentives for the following: 36/10 4-cyl pkg and a 36/10 v6 tech?  I am located outside of Philadelphia,  but could buy the car from dealers in PA, NJ, or DE - is there any difference in the program between these states?  Also, can you shed light on the difference between the 36 and 39 month leases?  Does the extra 3 months impact RV or MF in any way?

Even though the rate is 10.2% (?), WA only taxes the payment, plus any upfront amounts. Total tax shouldn't be any more than $1800.
That tax amount can't be accurate.

Just because they write it down, doesn't mean it's part of your lease deal. Dealers like to show a big number that's "all in", so when you try to calculate the lease, you think you are getting a deal.

In WA, like most states (most: more than half), taxes the monthly payment, and collects that amount, each month. Any taxable items paid upfront (CAP cost reductions, rebates, acquisition fees) are taxed upfront.

On a lease, the only tax charged upfront in WA, is on taxable items paid upfront. So, if you pay the acquisition fee upfront, or make a CAP cost reduction, or receive a rebate/incentive that is listed as a CAP cost reduction, then that amount is taxed upfront. Not the selling price, not the residual... not anything else.

After that, tax is applied to the monthly payment, and collected by the bank monthly.

So, your statement would look like this:
$420 mo. lease
$42.84 tax
$462.84 total (just an example, not the actual numbers)

The tax they've listed is for a purchase, not the "lease quote" they've then provided.

Yeah, the dealer is only giving you another $395 off the car after the $5000 incentive? IMO I would ask for another $3000 off the car and put $0 down.

Same base deal as me. Gross cap cost was $30,400. Only difference is all fees, tax, reg, doc, etc. are baked in - so my net cap cost is more. For 36/10k, my monthly payment before tax is $352. And that’s all that’s due when I pick up the car today ($376 with the tax). No down payment either.
